I have no idea why anyone would want to profile an amp that is all preamp gain and no power amp saturation. Zero idea. I don't even know how that idea got started.. but for me profiles that are done LOUD are the ones I love.

I ended up removing all rigs and re-downloading and installing everything. It actually fixed my problem. The profiles I was using had been around since before 1.0 firmware release so it probably had something to do with it.
Sounds fantastic through a Mesa 4x12 w/v30s

nothing?!
I guess this is a bug or something.

So I decided to try a Mesa 4x12 Guitar cabinet as a speaker for the Kemper. I went into the output settings and turned the Monitor Cabinet off. I thought that was all I needed to do.
So after messing around, I was altering some Cabinet block parameters and then decided to turn the Cabinet OFF and lock it, to my surprise the modifications to the cab parameters still effected the tone with the cabinet OFF and also the output Monitor Cabinet OFF.I am a total loss as to why or how this happens. Help!

I would like to run my Kemper into my Mesa 4x12 cabinet. So of course I need a solid state power amp. I am not picky, just need some amplification. I also would not like to spend much money since this will be used mostly for practice.
Recommendations? So far cheap options that seem to fit are:
Crown power amp
Behringer A500 or iNuke
Carvin power amp -
Happens to me all the time. Just run the master lower.

I fixed this issue by shoving one of these in the headphone jack:

I bought the Kemper when the firmware was .8 or something like that. I had issues. Odd things would happen in terms of output volume and tones. I did perform a Flash init. After that one time, everything has been find with my Kemper for the last 3 years. I expect something was corrupted at the time.

Those headphones are an utter joke with no midrange, huge V scoop, too much bass. No wonder you can't get anything to sound good, that part of the spectrum is totally missing from the headphones.
Sorry, gonna have to get something different to try. Studio monitors are the best bet.

For me, its gotta be through studio monitors. And loud as hell. To approximate what a gig would sound like.

Those profiles sound not-that-great. Even a great amp can be profiled badly. Some are created for recording, others for live playback. What you are missing from these tones is lower mids and mids.
Is this sound thick enough for you?

Hey this is cool. This will surely be a web interface for the kemper.. PERFECT!.. now I can control some stuff with my phone or tabet

I too would LOVE to find these profiles again.

Quit dancing around the issue which is you do not have enough bass response to give you the feeling of a 4x12 cab. You need a guitar subwoofer combined with whatever FRFR speaker system. Try an ISP sub: http://www.ispproaudio.com/portfolio/saps-115/

Very interesting device! Give us a review.

A Bose L1 can be Marshall stack loud with a Kemper and electric guitar
Have you heard a Marshall dimed?!! Its funny my experiences are opposite yours. Granted the BOSE system is very loud for what it is but compared to other PA systems it is.. shall we say small sounding. And compared to a Marshall stack dimed.. lol! -
We have a thread on the facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/group…819423072100¬if_t=like
Where people are saying they think the Kemper AD/DA converters are inferior to other converters on the market. I feel this is the kind of argument that needs to be backed up with empirical data or it is just another internet BS routine designed to instill fear and doubt in users. I lack the equipment to do this test but besides that people need to be doing a blind test not listening with their eyes, so to speak. -
78' Marshall JMP's are my favorite amp ever. Any chance you might have a few sound clips for me to listen to? Maybe something normal tuning and something more dropped metalish?
