Are you buying the second one as a backup (as I did), or do you plan on running through both of them simultaneously as two separate rigs?

I don't understand how the Kemper can isolate the amp sound. You'd think it would need to be fed the guitar signal injected to the amp as well as the output of the amp & from the difference then know what the transfer function is.
Since the signal being fed to the amp is generated by the KPA, what you said is indeed what happens. -
Been reading allot about FRFR and its sometimes not easy reading through all the different posts on different forums (atomic,RFC, etc).
I'm playing through my monitors (crappy m audio 5xa) or through my Mesa 50/50 with 2 rocktron cabs (not so bad, but a bit muddy and not so good at lower volumes).
After reading all the stories about the RCF, i'm not sure what would be the best option for me. I'm leaning towards a blue amp CF, also a FRFR, but for that price i could get a RCF NX 10SMA.
My question is, would the 10" be enough. And i don't mean for volume. But soundwise. Will i get the same experience like with the 12?
Sorry, i'm very new to all this (old drummer her :)) and its sometimes very confusing.
I need something that is easy to work with (not to many dials :)) and sounds great on any volume.
I can't speak for the RCF NX 10SMA, but I have a pair of RCF ART310A's, and I'm very happy with them. As usual, YMMV, but for the price, I don't think these can be beat. Whatever you're looking at, I suggest contacting Mike Pyle [email protected] for a quote. Nice fellow and good prices. -
Nice to hear positive stories like this. Were you monitoring on stage or purely FOH?
Edit: I meant your own monitor, like an RCF, etc.

Hey, a good bit of news: Kemper emailed me and said that "we are planning further improvements in this area, however I cannot commit any dates". I let them know that I appreciated hearing from them on this—just the acknowledgement that they are working on it is a hopeful sign—that makes my day.
Thanks for sharing this. It surely doesn't surprise me at all with all the visibility it's received ... -
I came across this: http://www.proaudiostar.com/?u…_2012_p1&utm_medium=email
and there are probably others out there. Might be the day to spring for that new powered monitor ...

Nice tone! For a wee bit cleaner sound, I found J. Schock's DrZ EZG-50 to work really well with my strat:

I added the rotary in the MOD slot, and am not sure what else I might have tweaked from his original, but it's a great profile.

Thanks! Gotta try this out today

VESMedic1, where are you in the US? Perhaps you're near one of us who has something you can try out in person?
-
Richard, I'd love to hear some demos from you just using the KPA, no pedals up front.
+1

This is the only product forum that I would put this much time into, and it's because of my enthusiasm for the KPA, not for something to complain about.
Patient—yes, reticent—no.

I don't think you will be disappointed. Dons work is magic. Although, I must say, I have never tried any of his strat PU's. I have had his super sport tele set in my tele for the last year but I recently swapped the bridge for his 0038 10k. That one just smokes!! Fat tele twang! The best tele pickup I have ever tried and it's staying.
I would very much like to try some of his stat pickups, tell us what you think.
I'll post an update after I get them. Should take about 3 weeks, but then they still need to be installed ... -
This would be more interesting to me https://www.dropbox.com/s/135kq8aadt11a5g/BodyArt3.jpg
Edit: I keep trying to put a pic directly into these posts and always fail ...

Missed this earlier. Very nice!
