I myself am more the type c guy - I love tube amps and my KPA sounds very close to then
Armin, do you use the same hardware in studio that you do playing out?

Excellent idea.

To the guy on the other site suggesting I steal music and am a low life, I dont know what to say. Destroy my character and spread your lies. Goodbye Im lost to this community.
Richie, I'm not sure what other site you are referring to, but this one has generally been great, with many generous members who willingly share their knowledge and their profiles. I urge you to stay here and not be put off by a single post. We are all individuals with differing opinions, but we also should be considerate and respectful. If occasionally that isn't the case, well, let's just get by it and move on. There is way too much positive here to let the small negatives overwhelm us.

There's no power amp in the KPA (yet). If you're worried, you can always set the output level very low to start. Press the Master button on the upper right of the unit and set the output how you like. Of course, there's always the Master Volume as well.

Why not?

Under "My Profile" "Settings" "Communications"
Select "E-mail notification on new post in favourites"
Any post you make ends up as a favorite, so responses will result in an email to you.

I really dont want to post anymore if it will just upset the majority so I will butt out and wish you all the best including and44. It is incredibly difficult to express disagreement here without what has obviously come across as amnosity. I was wanting the best for the most rather than the few. sorry.
Speaking for myself, I wasn't upset. Like you, I was expressing my opinion.

It would be great if we could get back to talking about the profiles themselves rather than charging vs. not charging.

And save off that cab ...

There's room for everyone here, so don't worry about a few side businesses springing up. People will continue to share, and there are MANY rigs already on the exchange. Personally, I wish Andy the best. He's contributed a lot to this community.

Another question is would i actually need a 12 inch speaker or could i get away with 10 inch if its just for guitar?
Personally, I think a 10" speaker is plenty for guitar. These things put out a lot of sound with plenty of bottom end. That said, I know a lot of guys aren't happy without a wall of Marshall cabs behind them

The FX loop can be stereo when used in the EFFECTS X section. Connect the DIRECT out from KPA to the BOSS input, then connect the BOSS outputs to the Alternate Input and the Return jacks on the KPA. I've not used this myself, but this is my understanding of how it would work. Someone with actual experience please confirm ...

I would suggest trying a few of these in person. A friend of mine brought over the 10" Eurolive and it sounded pretty good with the KPA.

Just looking for one less piece of equip
Yeah, it would be great to simply carry a lunchbox on stage and have it do everything, but if you consider it as just "the amp" then you get a different perspective ...
-
I can do this now using a mixer. This would just be easier.
And a mixer is more flexible - tone, volume, multiple inputs (instead of just 1) ...

Great pic! Now that I've turned 60 I think I'm gonna grow my hair like that

The search function has boxes to check for what you're attempting to match in your search. These include: Rigs, Amp Profiles, Cabinets, and Authors.
Edit: This is on the Kemper site, NOT in the KPA.
