Any body have other good clean Jazz sounding profiles out there?
Hi Dakozmos. Go to My Profile - Settings - Communication and enable IM's. I'll send some links to a few of my rigs.

Don't just try Tills cabs.
I like the Tills cabs too, but all your rigs will start to sound alike if that's all you use. If you're looking for the tone of a particular amp then I think you're best to stick with the original as profiled in most cases. YMMV.
I disagree.
Big band, big show, big sound, big mix...Hadley needs a Kemper.
Don't worry, he's tasted the Kemper...
"you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave".
He'll be back!
Absolutely. Personally, I think his exit is a bit premature. The KPA is young, and there are undoubtedly many exciting changes we're yet to see. However, in the end we each have to decide what works for us ...
Isn't the backup preventive enough?
When you stumble across an issue you do your resets and then restore. Why go into all this trouble for nothing?
Well, I put this out for discussion to get the viewpoints of others. I could be wrong, but to me creating backups is to recover from a failure. To my mind, preventive maintenance is to avoid a failure in the first place. My thoughts on this were that it might be better to do the reset and restore at a time convenient to me, rather than wait for a failure to occur, which might be at the most inopportune time ...
I've read countless problem reports where the solution was some type of system reset, after which the world was all rosy. Well, does it make sense to do a backup then reset your system at regular intervals as preventive maintenance? Comments?
Hadley,
I told before that we are taking care of noise issues.
But it seems that you suffering so much, that I am willing to take your unit back.
Please send a message to our support for details.
Well done. I love my KPA and am willing to take this walk with you and your company. Thanks for a GREAT product!
Greetings. Ask away!
Welcome!
Would you like
- The six button design (bank buttons second row) or five button design (bank buttons third row)?
- The bank buttons left aligned or right aligned? (Some might like to use the left food while playing cause you don't move the guitar by your left leg)
- The rig buttons or the effect buttons on the lowest row?
6 (the more rows the more difficult to use IMO)
right

Thanks for allowing input

Sorry to go about this, but this is EXACTLY the same probs I used to have, took me ages to discover.. turned out to be a dimmer switch that went bad, replaced with a normal on/off switch and all was ok, since then never had the same problem...
I too had weird noises, soon as I touched the strings it went.. would hum one min, buzz the next.. used to drive me a bit nuts.. - silly suggestion, turn of all the lights in the room.. and in fact the house!!... also if your fridge power supply is near will casue simular results..
I hope Im wrong here for your own sake.. but I feel your pain mate!
A
Thanks A. I've definitely decided it's coming through the PUPs, so not a KPA noise issue. So many possibilities in this old house, so I'll probably never find the source. Oh well.
Welcome!
And, HEY, what's with the jazz jokes?????? I get lots of great jazzy tones out of mine!!!
could it be interference from moniters?, light dimmer switches and sorts of things like that!
The noise I hear is what I would usually associate with a solid state amp going bad, kind of a low pitch crackly sound. It appears out of nowhere and disappears when I play. Odd stuff, and definitely not the kind of noise you get from electrical interference.
there are still 'crackles & sputters' that come through unless you set the NR pretty high
I agree with Hadley on this. I have noise that comes and goes. It's not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to eliminate it.
Welcome!
Welcome. You won't be disappointed
Yeah, that thread just died completely for a few months. There are probably a lot more people willing to contribute now - would be pocket change as a group effort ...
I don't know about anyone else, but the KPA made me appreciate my strat in a new way. Those single coils, especially in that warm second position of the selector switch, going through the Dumble rig ...
How do you think this will sound through the Bose L1 Model 2 System with 2 subwoofers?
I have a Bose L1 Model 2 with a single sub and it sounds decent, especially with the clean tones. I think it would work fine in the environment you describe. However, I picked up an RCF ART-310A, which is a lot cheaper than the Bose, for use with the Kemper. It feels more like a guitar amp to me. Still for your performance criteria, I bet the Bose works just fine.
