I used to use a Voice Live with my Kemper set up . (until I got the dreaded Black Screen) I just used the MIDI out on the Kemper to in on VL
In performance mode you can setup program change on a per performance basis
Sorry for off topic, but are you talking about the Voice Live showing a black (or possibly blue) screen? If so, that might be easy to fix (mine was).

and guitarists can't even agree on where the pedal should be placed - left or right.
Easy...one to the left, one to the right
-
If it works for you now... great! But I'm afraid that deleting rigs does not change the sound of your Kemper at all. Except for those sounds/rigs that you've deleted.
-
Nope, but the best thing you can do is to provide a recording that shows that static tone distortion. Otherwise I*m afraid that all you can hope for is just guesswork.
-
Do you have anything locked in performance mode, maybe a distortion stomp?
-
1.:Try 5.7.4! You can always go back to older versions.
2.:If you decide to stick to an older version (pre 5.7.4) just lower reverb mix in profiles that seem to have too much reverb.
3.: Start using the new reverbs. You probably might like them better ;o) (But of course YMMV)

The old Acoustic Variax was long before James Tyler's (James Taylor is a different guy ;o) involvement, but I agree, to me it is a "live only" solution!
-
He (David Gilmour) is selling a lot of gear. Maybe you are interested?
-
Yes but IIRC only the old Variax Acoustic (700?) had a nylon model on an actual steel string guitar and from what I've heard nobody thought that it sounded like a nylon (and maybe more importantly it probably felt even less like one). I remember that back in the days some people just put nylon strings on variaxes but I don't remember how well that worked.
My suggestion would be: Use nylon strings on an appropriate guitar!!!
-
Do you want to play on an electric and make it sound like a nylon? As far as I know there is no solution for that other than using nylon strings (will obviously not work with magnetic pickups).
Or do you want to use a piezo-equipped nylon and make the sound more "realistic"? Than the stuff on Rig Exchange might work (but you already said that it doesn't).

You really like that sound? Sounds very artificial to me. I hope that Kemper's acoustic sim will sound much much better!
Obviously I do not have a profile of that hotone thing .
-
Well, it's the "hummmmmmmmmm" you got to get used to!
-
No, a marketing strategy, I lowered it to $425, that way it shows the price was lowered. People love that.
But the complaining is silly. Just get it from the Kemper site here! I don't have a gun to anyone's head. I'm just in no hurry to sell.If I got one from the Kemper site, how much would you offer me for it?
By the way, I just read through the posts and I cannot see anybody complaining!?
-
But nobody has pointed out to me that yoga skills are needed.
I think I need to order a full body condom made of wire mesh fence for screening
You can start by practicing singing (or rather chanting) a very low "hummmmmmmmm"Three times a day should get you ready for anything!!!
-
That would explain the price. He's trying to sell it twiceNo...wait... that makes no sense
-
Great to have you back!!!
