We I got the whole package and think they are all rather good.
I have had a couple of people so far say "Hey that sounds nice" which is amazing as people usually throw things at me when I play guitar!

Sigh!
I myself don't see what the problem is, and I do not see it as corporate greed what Andy (and44) has done by charging for his profiles.
If people don't want to pay for profiles they don't have to, there are plenty available on the forum and in the rig-exchange that are free, including a great many from and44 that are free if you don't want to donate some money.
Now maybe the people complaining about corporate greed have posted loads of profiles here that they have done for free, work every evening doing charity work, etc. But I doubt it!
I was going to say good luck but looking at your forum name you don't need it!
Easy just Italy then Germany then Spain, what can possibly go wrong?
So what if Kemper starts making premium rigs for purchase? The KPA comes with a tremendous assortment of great sounding amps and effects. More than any other amp modeler I can think of, and of higher quality. The Pod HD500 only has 22. The Axe FX 2 has 63. The KPA comes with hundreds... I'm not even sure how many. I know the KPA is expensive, but not compared to the Axe FX it isn't... not even compared to a single boutique tube amp, and those come with no effects other than a possibile spring reverb.
So should we just expect Kemper to provide free profiles forever? It's work to do this and at some point they'd eat though any profit they made. I'd be perfectly fine if they started profiling esoteric or rare amps and charging. If they came out with a classic and modern bass amp pack, I'd be first in line. In fact, if people start seeing money in this the quality will go up and the variety will increase. It's a win/win for all KPA owners IMO.
I agree, if people want to charge for their work whats the problem with that?
Concerning names.
Yeah all 3 sets are the same name, and agree if you own all 3 guitars thats a pain too!. - But the reason I kept it like this is for clarity reasons. - Id rather you have 300 profiles to go through than 900 - and also figured that sooo many of you always rename things to your own style anyway.. so really all you gotta do is save the prefix from a 4 to say a 5 and a 6 for the 3rd guitar...I did wish though that I did that when doing it originally. so apologies to all on that part.
We all make mistakes sometimes
For others that may be wondering It is actually possible to have them all on the Kemper at the same time but the names display exactly the same.
It is also worth trying all of them as with my G&L ASAT Special Deluxe the ToneKing sounds best to me on the Strat setting, then the LP and the Tele settings come last!
I can recommend the ToneKing pack as well, very nice it is.
not really - Mac or Win?
Renaming the profiles on the computer doesn't rename the profile on the kemper though does it?
I think it gets the name used for the preset in the kemper from metadata within the file?
I guess we have to rename them before the upload - just checked that, it appears they have the same name for each folder (PU-Type).
Thanks for the info, that seems a bit of a pain
Ok got a few emails on this today, so hope this clears this up.
All the best
A
So can you have all 3 sets on the kemper at the same time?
I did a search for Andy but no rigs under that name?
I don't do high gain at all and I think the Kemper is great, best bit of guitar kit I ever got!
Depends on the pedal.
Treat the kemper how you would an amp.
I think they saying pcs are dead because there are lots of phones doesn't make sense in this conversation.
Just because my phone is running android doesn't turn it into a device that I would use as an editor for the kemper!
IMHO, it would make more sense to develop the Kemper Editor/Rig Manager on iOS and Android than on PC and MAC for 2 majors reasons:
1) In near future, it will be more Android and iOS devices than PC and MAC.
Im not sure about this.
There are over a billion computers running MS operating systems, by 2015 this is meant to reach 2 billion.
This figure is growing quicker than tablet sales.
Hi guys,
Thanks for the info.
As it sounds like it is technically possible it would be good if they added this without the jumping through hoops type thingy.
Ah not cheap!
Hi,
Thanks very much for the info.
Now how much are they.......
Andy
Hi Guys,
Any one know anything about the amp used in this profile.
It is named "Petrol", I have never heard of these amps!
Anyone know anything?
Cheers
Andy
