That is not bad!

I found 5 milliseconds latency from the Kemper.
Top line is direct bottom Kemper. -
A typical grand piano has a "latency" of up to 5mS. This is the time it takes for the hammer to fly into the strings after being released by the escapement.

I bought the Mel 9 the other day and used it on the gig last night and the result was spectacular. The cello sound in particular worked great for Eleanor Rigby and the Mellotron flutes were superb in Strawberry fields. I believe the way to get a good sound with these pedals is to have a compressor after the pedal and have a bit of added delay and reverb. At the moment I use the direct out clean from the Kemper to drive the pedals and the output from the pedals into a splitter into a voicelive 3 which provides the compression, delay and reverb and sometimes flanging!
IThat is GREAT to hear!

Tim's (Deadpan) profiles are very different then what has been before for the Axe.
These sound great.
There are tons of profiles up here of the real thing and they sound horrid.
Real or emulation means nothing to me.
I go for what sounds and feels the best. -
I would like ALL the amp models straight out of the AX8.
I will donate! -
I had one in a rig pack I liked:

I have two of your AX8 profiles and they are both great.
Thank you.
Will there be more or a collection for sale of all the AX amp sounds?
Thanks again.

"the current product seems to be somewhat leveling out in terms of big 'musical' feature enhancements..."
What makes you think its leveled out feature wise?
There is tons of room on the inside for new things. -
Thank you I could not find it!

Some years ago I put an nice emulation of a spring reverb up here but I cant find it listed.
I will keep looking.
The sound stood up very well against a real spring I had.Bill

The compression in the Kemper is the best best compressor I have ever used in my long career as a recording guitarist.
I have used the ALL the compressors out there, and hands down the Kemper is the best for what I need.
Not sure what the problem is that a few here are having...
Its one of the reasons the profiler is what I take to work.

I programmed the B9 and C9 pedals for Electro-Harmonix.
As the guys said above it is not possible to profile them.
The pitch shifting sections in the organ machines are extremely complex., but if you work with the Kemper pitch shifters you may find some fun stuff.
The B9 and C9 both sound great in front of the Kemper!

Profiling this may not be possible, I tried on a Pigtronix Mothership and the KPA said the amp was too distorted. I wonder if the wave conversion is too "complete" (even at the lowest input volumes/voltages) so the KPA doesn't ever see a "clean" signal?
Very cool pedal and would be awesome if these sounds were achievable!
Hi
No you can not profile this effect.
Its a time based effect as well as MANY other things.

Are you looking for and acoustic or electric 12 str. sound?
I would like to find out if anyone has experience with mimicking a 12 string? One of our songs needs a 12 string (according to our bassist), I have been using Vintage Chorus but he deems it unsatisfactory, it looks like the Chromatic Shifter may do part of the job by raising the pitches of the lower four by an octave, but doing the unison with the top two has me stuck. I will try the Chromatic Shifter but would appreciate any useful suggestions. I would really like to avoid having to schlep a 12 string for just the one song. Thanks.

Yes you can and they can be exact!
I have done it with Boss/Roland sounds that worked great in the studio for me.
I love them on the Kemper.
The great thing with the Kemper is, after you profile those tones you can make them even better with the Kemper EQ and gain staging.
Do it!
It works. -

Your profiles of late are stellar!
Thank you, they sound full and perfect here in my studio.
Great job!
