I noticed that the power cord that came with my KPA does not have a ground prong on the end. Not that I have had any power issues other than the power outage . Did yours come with one?

+1 on JUANMA BLANCO presets!!!!!! They are awesome.
I don't think the KPA tones slay the tones I get out of the Axe-fx. I can get the same type tones but on the Axe it's just less tweaking. Really seems to be the Axe-fx vs. KPA battle is over the "amp tones".
When you add in usb audio recording, top notch effects and routing capabilities, software editor etc...then the clear winner is the Axe-fx II.
I have both so that's just my 0.02 -
Hi folks!
First of all thank you all. Much appreciated!
Here you have also another video, this time Axe FX II vs Kemper:
...and, I think in September will back to Kemper again, hehehehehehe
Yes!!! Your profiles are the best. thanks so much!!

i agree with the guy that wrote that the 2 units should never be compared. Maybe amp for Amp but tone ....thats all subjective. I have Kemper ....I am happy. I have 11r. Still happy.....I have Axe II....still happy. I die with most toys...I not happy.

+1 on making a Commercial area. IMHO, selling rigs defeats the Spirit of the "Rig Exchange" and this area of the forum which was intended to support it. When you look at the KPA on screen display on the Import/Export page, it states "Share your Rigs"....right there in the firmware!
Now, I am not opposed to a guy making a buck. Selling rigs is a separate and unrelated idea. I would prefer the forum remain unadulterated and more about the EXCHANGE of rigs through the RIG EXCHANGE. If a purchaser of rigs would like to share their opinion, great! The super mega coupon special stuff is annoying though.
No offense intended Armin. I am sure your profiles are top notch, no doubt. If I read from a respected forum members that your profiles are worth buying. That's all I would need to drive me to your website to check it out if I was inclined to pay for rigs.

I have seen this several times. Doesn't help the sales pitch by spamming other forums. Anyone know who is doing it?
From the fender forum,
"I was turned off by a guy who basically spammed every forum on earth promoting it; I'd never buy a new one simply based on one bad salesman.'That guy definitely had an agenda. I remember him.""

IMO I think as long as these type threads exist.....the products will keep getting better. (my .02)

It would be nice to have dual amp and cabs.

Was going to buy one of these.......maybe not.

As stupid as it sounds, the best would be to keep the Axe II, get the Kemper under return policy, and decide afterward which one to keep....but I understand the financials. Nothing and nobody can substitute your ears and your feel. A lot of people here have both of them, let's see if somebody chimes in.

I have both -

Hi, owning both units I can say that the kpa could do almost any sound that the axeII can. I have profiled some sounds of my axeII and I find the profiles pretty close to the source. The problem is how to find your sounds. With the axe you can create everything on your own...or let's say you must create everything. There are advantages and drawbacks to it. With the kpa you have to search in the endless ballpark, wich takes time too. There might be no clear and simple answer to your question. If you worry if you could do it faster and better with the other unit, I'd say no, it's not that easy, you got to tweak or got to search and it'll take some time anyway. It would be different when you don't look for a special sound, good sounds of every kind are easier to find.
+1 - Owning both here, I find I gravitate towards the AXe II routing capabilities. Some days (like yesterday) It was much simpler just to sit down and dial in some tone on the KPA.
Find some way to sit down with both and go from there. But take the time! -
+1 Thanks for this.

I borrowed AxeII (v6.0) from my band's other guitarist and have played through it some while. I would say: never mind the OP, please. I probably don't need them. -Jake
Then I'd say you don't know how to work the axe II. The KPA fanboy crap is graining on my nerves. I got both, I love both but if I had to choose just one to keep,it would be the axe. -
I think CK is on vacation now but i will try to discuss it with the team asap. However it would be cool if other users shared their opinion regarding this matter. I think it is really vital to improve the rig exchange database to become more useful and stay interesting for all those great profiles that are yet to come. Imagine facebook would have had a "dislike" button... it would never have grown that big
Something's got to be done, wether its a rating system or whatever. There are some profiles up there that are total poo.
As it grows no one wants to go through them all and pick out the golden nuggets out of so many profiles. My .02 -
The only profiles I like are the pros. ( mostly)
