Well good luck . I hope it's sorted soon. Glad you've been able to calm down . I'ld probably be having a stress induced heart attack

Agree with all of the above. And have fun

Before Remote, I was using a FCB1010 w/ stock UNO chip. I was able to line up the effects and have them switch on/off with LEDs working showing effects state, with no issues. I have not heard any popping or clicking in browse mode while switching rigs or effects.

Great finally a coherant response that gives me a little faith that I won't have a recurring problem.
Thanks gstring a little explanation helps

Gstring , I appreciate your voice here , but your very statement begs the question of what is going on. So far my replacement remote is running flawlessly, but
"we will fix it, not a big deal. i know it is unfortunate for the ones in here who have issues but if you would see the percentage of those against people who just happily pedal away - i don't want to play it down but i guess you know what i'd like to bring across."
gsWithout knowing how many remotes have been shipped and are working just fine, how would we know what the actual failure rate is. To be honest Kemper has not been forthcomming with the cause of the failures( and you may have not figured it out yet) so I think we all are a little skeptical about it happening to the ones that are working.
I also Greatly appreciate and applaud Kemper for doing everything they can to help everyone who has and is having a problem

Just found how to toggle the 2 effects. It was on the NAMM video that MR Kemper demed how to set up the remote. Super easy and super cool. And I love that when you step on the Rig button again it resets with no lag time
-
BR ( before Remote) I had my Kemper and FCB set up with off at heel and wa to pitch. Now AR (after Remote) it doesn't work thet way. The off at heel is working but not wa to pitch.
I thought I saw somewhere where you could setup a switch to swap effects on or off , but now can't find it. -
Interesting but wonder what Kemper is going to do about it, Ild hate to be on a gig and have this failure. Fortunatly no gigs for a couple of weeks and i'll put the Remote through it's paces everynight till then to hopefully make sure

Hope digibob checks in soon with the info

Well this is disturbing.. I gigged Sat and my replacement functioned flawlessly. But I will definitly take my FCB1010 with me just in case
And agree Kemper needs to step up with a "Plausable explanation" for the issues -
I still have both the Remote and the Fcb1010.
After having a slight misshap at Gig on Sat. night ( I accidently cought the looper switch with my tow while turning on an effect) , I set up both pedals yesterday to A/B them side by side. I have had no trouble in 2 1/2 yrs using the FCB w/ stk UNO chip, so I was wondering other then some simplicity what I was gaining from the KPA Remote.
I found I really liked the size and form factor much better. I also liked using my modified Crybaby much much better then the FCB pedals. Also having easy access to the tuner and tap tempo is outstanding
I also fixed the problem of hitting the looper button by accident , by cutting a small black hard foam ring to slip over the button -
Sorry to here about your dilemna...
I'm one of the ones who 's problem was solved with a replacement remote. I've used the new one on 3 gigs and several rehearsals without an issue, other then hitting the looper button by accident..
I have to agree Kemper needs to get this sorted fast to restore confidence in the Remote, because heaven knows I'm concerned everytime I turn it on. -
Thanks just subscribed
