The tone is great, but please ... tell me what I have to do to play like you
PETE, ME TOO

Like I said someone here took a tap from inside the KPA to a powersupply mounted in the back. Not recomended if still under warranty. I'll try and find the thread here. you coulld probly make a short Y power cable to power a power adapter.
-
Pete, has this new profile been posted on your web site. I think I would fork over some additional funds for it. Paul . Also what guitar and pickups did you use in the demo?

The Behringer FCB1010 even in stock form can send messages on different channels, up to 5 PC changes on different channels at a time if I recall correctly. Honestly, almost everything the new firmware offers can be programmed into an FCB with an UNO. If you need control of several devices, you're going to be doing some programming anyway. I'm sticking with the regular UNO chip for now unless something compels me otherwise.
Will, I know and I'm for now sticking with the stock FCB010/UNO ( been using it for almost 2 years) . The Tuner on the floor would be pretty cool, but I can live without it. I may still order the cool glow in the dark stickers from LABRAT

Will, You only need 5 pin cable, MIDI only takes 3 wires. There are mods on the Yahoo FCB1010/uno Forum. Paul

There are a couple of mods on the yahoo fcb-uno forum. you still need to plug a powersupply in at the KPa end. Someone here modded a KPA and tapped power off of it and supplied p-supply, but can't remember who. If it's under warranty I don't think I'ld mod the KPA. Paul

As of today still not able to read quote just big green box.
-
Tiago, Welcome to the great tone of KPA.
-
Damn it ! Why can't I read the quotes???? Just see bib green quote boxes
-
Does the new KPA version still allow multiple PC on multiple MIDI channels in order to control multiple devices? Can the expression pedals be assigned to control things other than volume, wah, and pitch?
No the new KPA version does not support multiple MIDI channels, That's why unfortunatly it will not work for me
-
ll you need is regular MIDI cables , unless you are planning on doing a power supply mod and power the FCB1010 through the cable.
-
Yeah! What Ingolf said Very very good. Paul
-
Pete, this is a really great tone and your playing is impeccable as usual. thanks for sharing Paul.. What guitar and pickups did you use. Are you gonna make the profile available?
-
Mark, You can delete all rigs in the system settings. Paul
-
What if they did a Combo ,but used a closed back FRFR type cabinet portion. Kind of best of both worlds. Like CLR or DSR10 in one box. That way you could here all the different cab variations.

Count me in for making Slot 1 the default when switching Performances. Seems like an important feature issue.
Akkan wrote "All unused slots should be unavailable and muted". Good idea. For live performance this is critical.
He also mentioned " I need an option to rename the slots globally. It's annoying to rename each slot in each performance". My workaround is simple. Title the Performance (song name perhaps) and every time you add a rig into the slots, just ignore the titling and keep hitting Save. The slots will retain their original rig name. Caveat: this only works if you don't need to ID the slots. Hope this helps.
I haven't had the chance to work with Performance Mode yet, hopefully this weekend ,but I have to agree with Akkan on this

I know I must be missing something, but why a looper in the KPA. How are you guys using one?
-
I just want to be able to see the quotes instead of a big green box

Maurizio, I just listened sounds great.
