Looks pretty cool Tilman, do you have estimate on price/availability?
Thanks! -
Placed order for Remote on Jan 21st, paid on May 12th, arrived at my door on June 1st.
Only had a few minutes with it, but happy thus far -
Ordered on Jan. 21st, #3447141, received my Kemper Paypal invoice today.
Paid and awaiting status change to 'shipped'

I would go for the Kemper and wait for the Remote. That was you would have the amp to play with and get to know. If you need a foot controller in while waiting for the remote, there are other cost effective solutions (namely FCB1010 & others).

I use The Unarchiver or Keka App with great results. I think both are free...give 'me a try
-
Yes, I use a Traynor YCS50 Combo
http://traynoramps.com/guitar/ycs/product/ycs50/I plug the Kemper into the 'Amp In' jack, and also run an extension cab.
It works great, sounds great, no issues at all.

Well I bit the bullet...I ended up putting my order in last night through the International store, total came to €469.33 (excl. VAT and incl. €50 shipping).
Received confirmation email that order went through.

You only have to pay VAT if you live in Europe. Once you go to the Checkout, VAT is subtracted from the order.
So total in Euro is roughtly €419, this is actually much cheaper when you factor in Xchange rate, given the US price is $599US -
I'm confused...it says that the US Store is for US Citizens and anyone not in US should order from International Store. So shouldn't Canada order go through International Store?
This is from the Kemper Store website:
"US American Store
This store is for US citizens.
Everybody located outside the US, please buy through the International store."Also, if you order from the International Store in Euros, you save approx. $100 due to exchange rate/price difference between Euro/US dollar compared to CDN $$. Total from International store was €469 (€419 excl. VAT + €50 shipping).

Although I was on the early bird list, I will wait for a while. Quite $$$ for my needs, compared to $80 for used FCB1010. I also have a Boomerang Looper which I love, so the looper 'feature' is of no use to me. The Remote's integration between hardware/software will be amazing I'm sure, which would be the selling feature for me.
Also, with the price of the Remote, I would be paranoid it would get damaged at gig/stage floor (beer, spit, water, mud etc). With FCB, pre-owned units are always around for less than $100, so I sleep easy

I like the following acoustic profiles:
- Acoustic A-E (M. Franzkowiak)
- Acoustimax 1 & 1SM (Tuna)
- Acoustic Dream (Flitzefinger)
- Taylor 114 (DoZ')For Acoustics, I think DI profiles of clean pre-amps work best...try searching for Avalon or Neve on RigX.

Really great rigs, thanks for all your contributions!
-
Awesome, been waiting for this one
-
Thanks Chris!
Grabbed the Marshall Vintage and the Burman.Great profiles!
-
Nice setup!
Yes, the only other thing I would get is a foot controller for switching rigs/presets. Or a couple expression pedals so you can use wah/volume.
The FCB1010 is a reasonable ($) alternative, while you wait for the KFC.

I can also recommend The Amp Factory Stiletto profiles. There's a great selection of cleans, crunch and hi-gain. In the package you also get profiles specifically for Strat, Tele and LP.
