Shamelessly plugging my own profile here, but I get some decent djent type tones out of my engl savage 120 profile. I think it's called Savage 120 RX2 in the profile exchange. Try it and see if it works for you.

The rack is 3 units high and about 19,5 cm deep. Don't forget additional place needed for the jacks.
Thanks!

Hi all,
Is there any official info on the Rack version depth?

Or you can check out one of these: http://www.thomann.de/se/lindy…nverter_spdif_digital.htm and this http://www.thomann.de/se/the_s…pter_toslinkmini_plug.htm with 75 ohm RCA cable and regular toslink cable.

The macbook has and optical input, and the KPA has an electrical output, so you will need a converter. For the same price as such a device you can get a decent usb/fw interface that has electrical (rca) s/pdif inputs, so I would recommend the latter.

Hi, Could someone recommend me a dirty country rig in the vein of Brad Paisley? Many thanks.
-
Yeah, like I said, these profiles can be a bit noisy and harsh depending on the output of your pickups, etc, especially the way I had the rigs set up. It worked for me though, but again, feel free to tweak to taste :). I'll do some more profiles soon with different miking.

I've uploaded a rhythm profile as well. It's optimized for baritone tuning and may be too harsh for some guitars unless further EQed.
Here's a clip: http://snd.sc/L3vy3p
This is channel 3, rough mode.
The encoding warbled the sound a little, but you get the idea. I´ve no excuse for the goofy drums and bass parts thou
Let me know what you think.

I just uploaded an ENGL Savage 120 Channel 4 Lead profile.
Here's a clip:
Setup: Savage 120, Ch 4, Smooth mode -> ENGL E412SS 4x12 cab -> SM58 (grille off) -> Kemper.
I have it set up with a basic lead boost and reverb/delay and some chorus, but feel free to tweak away of course
In the clip I'm playing a Jackson USA Y2KV with SD JB pickups.
Please let me know what you think. I can also upload the rhythm profile if you want.

The manual states that certain pedals, such as the tubescreamer, uses a certain circuitry that doesn't profile well. What makes this so? And how does one know when purchasing a pedal, if it will profile? I am currently looking at a Radial Texas Bones.

I am doing some ENGL Savage 120 profiling at the moment and will be uploading high-gain rhythm and lead profiles with sound clips soon. Hopefully they will be to your liking

Hey guys, I was just thinking about a cool setup for profiling. Amp head -> Two notes torpedo -> Focusrite liquid channel -> Kemper return. Could propapbly get any tone in the world with that setup. Ah, the wonder of convolution technology
Is anybody using any of these units for profiling? Comments?

So anyone with a Namba bag....how are they holding up?
Is it worth the purchase?
I'd say so. It's flexible yet seems sturdy and durable. It has some sort of rigid foam padding on all sides, but the bottom can be opened up in order to fold it flat when not in use. Good pockets too, you'll get a couple of pedals and cables in there and a half rack unit with no problems.

+spring reverb and a Maxon OD808 model and I'll be happy

Cool! My kemper arrived last week, and as a matter of fact, I was planning on doing the same thing (at Fenix, I live close by). May I ask what you're paying for the time?

Hi guys
Just got my kpa yesterday and loving it so far. I'm having an issue however, in that the kemper refuses to format my newly aquired (for this purpose especially) usb thumb drive (8gb). It just says basically "error, try another usb device" which I will, but has anybody found a solution to this? Thanks.
