Im really pleased to see many of you still keep this subject open...Ive owned my kemper for over 10 months now and im still having to use a rack just to control my octaves and harmonies. This is very important I feel and should be addressed asap. Love the KPA / Hate the fact that there is still no simple octave lower effect.

Yes, in 'local' are your favorites.
You can go to any rig - and save the cab from the cab menu.
Thanks Armin! -
then guitar GAS kicked in an I bought a Jackson PC1 !
Javlin, seriously thats no GAS... the PC1 Rocks!!! I own 2 of them Im a massive def leppard fan also...that guitar is just serious class! -
I recently paid £1250 for a new one from Andertons, Digital village were doing it cheaper, however I got a great deal on the gig bag (half price) from Andertons...... I'd go new fo peace of mind.
I did think about that but Its now or never and I have the 1100 right now. I dont think I will have any problems as it is mint and on the plus side I went round to the sellers house to test it. Not a problem anywhere. Yes I know its GAS to have a second but this is just too good to miss
-
Are you buying the second one as a backup (as I did), or do you plan on running through both of them simultaneously as two separate rigs?
It was mainly for a backup BUT your suggestion running them simultaneously is just too tempting also!!

Go for it, you cannot expect to get much lower. One was on ebay about a week or so ago and went out for 150€ less then the new price
Yes!! on to my next problem which one to buy...might just buy both of them (I wish!) -
I love my KPA so much that ive decided to buy a second. Ive noticed 2 on the web going second hand but both are as new with no use. My question is how much should I be expected to pay on a second hand one. respectably I know the value of the unit...so im not looking to pay only 500.00! (GBP) One is valued at 1100.00 and the other at 1200.00 both I feel are good prices for new units. What do you guys think? My master card is saying yes at the moment

Holy S**t! That room must use more power than a small country
possibly nuclear arms also...wow GAS or what??!!?? -
I think Per's suggestion is solid. Im sure the kpa must have the processing power to do it...hopefully...

I wish there was a maxon 808 tubescreamer in the stomp collection on the kemper..
Also the Maxon SD9...
-
...would be cool to profile that pedal...wishes wishes

You can achieve a closish tone to a univibe with some tweaking...but if all else fails go for the T Rex Viper - univibe heaven IMHO
-
Yup, pedals work like a charm my Analogman KOT sounds colossal in front!! Also T rex Moller, Spin Doctor and Vodka Mods DS1 are good also. One of my personal favs, and Scott Henderson's also, is the Maxon SD9 - really like what that does to clean tones Its a taste thing really but the magic is there just like a real pedal and amp combo - KPA ROCKS!

Anyway, the second and third Kemper Orientation films have spread a certain light over operating the unit for me. Just youtube for it, it might be worth it
I agree, the videos were very helpful and informative. The andertons one sounds good...get it uploaded please!! -
Patiently waiting for the remote pedal ...
me too!!!
-
I'm waiting for a delete option in the main display.
+1 sounds interesting

Best news for ages.....Ive been really wanting this for ages!!!!
Ps..any chance of really making this end of 2012 really perfect and adding an octave (octave down) effect...preeeeety please!!

Like Hoth said above.. just watch out for clipping as VST operates in sometimes curious ways!
-
I also can hear it. good demo to boot!
