I wonder if it would be possible to make a list of "proven" DI Boxes now. In 2 or 3 price ranges. Any new post brings another option up and makes any decision for non professionals impossible.
Burkhard: why does Kemper do not give any recommendations ?

I too feel it is expensive even if other boards are similar priced.
I will wait until there will be a bargain offer and until the the first bugfixes are out.

@bigHF to look for some Cross Platform Development Tools, there are plenty of them. e.g. http://livecode.com/ or https://www.madewithmarmalade.com/index.
But one of the easiest approach is HTML5. To be used with embedded (within the KPA) web servers like http://www.unicoi.com/fusion_n…IPR5bHhk8MCFQMYwwodnzYAeA
I am not too deeply involved in this technological area, but I know, that we do have plenty of products around us who use this kind of technology already, which is very useful because you just need one web browser to access the data.

As Long as every OS Version is programmed separately I doubt that this will happen.
Month ago I suggested to build a web based solution (small embedded WebServer in the KPA - you have this in small telco modem devices e.g.) to be used via browsers and not to having this problem now. Accessible via bluetooth/wifi dongle through the USB Port
Nobody liked the idea.
Now you see what probs you get choosing the wrong platform

The fan on the L3t is just working under workload (and then the Music overrules the fan noise)
In breaks without music it runs some seconds to cool down the system (shouldn't be an issue on the stage) -
Hi there, I use an L3T and am very satisfied. It produces very good sound direct out of my KPA fitting well for my needs.
The Fan can be a little anoing, if you are to close to the Speaker at breaks but it is not really loud during music.I suggest to take some time and visit a large Music Store and make your own comparison because its your ears

I am using one L3t and am totally happy

Did you look into the manual on the KPA output side to look where to check all parameters for spdif master volume .....? Spdif out has to be x-ed on.
In GB you have Level Knobs too. -
Hi ChrisRon
I am sorry not having the identical interface but a similar one. I own the 8i6, but perhaps my quick little manual with some file links / attachments will help however.
I added some hardcopies, the Scarlett MixContol file and a running GB Project. The 1st link in the PDF please save to a file. It is XML type and when you open it, it will show text.
My SPDIF In/Out are both connected between KPA and 8i6
Good Luck

Great playing and video.
It seems you had probs coming off the Kemper
-
I got the ux2 too. It is not the right interface to connect your Kpa.
Look into this forum and search for posts regarding spdif interfaces.
There are many useful ones.
I got mine from focusrite and am happy. -
I fear, you cannot get rid of the pc as long as Kemper relys on old SW development methods, being not platform open.
But the Windows RD Client for iOS enables you to steer the windows client GUI with RigManager through iOS and iPAD.
Better than nothing.

If you have an ipad and a midi interface you may have a look at this solution
!!! NEW KP RACK control via iOS TB midi stuff using NRPN now with LEDs !!!
Without too much programming knowledge you may customize the solution to your convenience
Have fun

I thought this would have been the best solution, but the non IT guys don't like it. We then would have had a use case for the network plug.

Well done who needs else than KPA ?
Waiting for the pocket version of the KPA Player.

+1111 very stylish
What kind of speaker fits in this chrome box 1200" ?
-
Ok, but
HD500 midi msg for Vol and Wah do work on the KPA -
I have not read about a foot controller yet.
But why should I need one beside the optional 2 directly connected to the KPA ?
Perhaps I will make a test with my bluetooth pageturner if it works with vol or gainI think TBMS should be directional but I do not know how to test that.
I'd suggest to ask in their forum. They are very kind and answer reasonably quick
