welcome, a nice studio indeed !
Hi Bobbo, I got much love for the ones on my strat, Hot fender noiseless (Jeff Beck ones), they're full of life and really noiseless.
The volume course is really great (with the right caps) since it keeps lots of clarity. what I love the most is that you have the traditional strat tone at volume 8/9 and a modern one at 10. Anyway, they can play everything from Lullabies & Jazz to Motorhead.
This is the one strat I use on my recording, sounds way better than the stock fender PU I got on the American Standard I sold.
Yes ! very nice combo you got , what speaker did you put in the cab ?
I just noticed the MARS G30 GEM, it's a collection of profiles I took by myself, but I turned out using one of Sirius CAB, he was ok.
Anyway, it's absolutely no problem to keep them it in the archive
thx Bobbo, sorting them out is very cool , as well as the Zip
too much good profiles and so little time , anyway thx a lot for these Andy, I just tried the JCM800 and WEM and really dug them so far.
another good point : the G1on cab be powered thru usb, maybe a single cable from the back port of the KPA can be enough to power the unit.
Vid example for the tones :
ok thx ben !
As anyone tested this great little unit ? What's worth this spring modeled after a 63'fender one ?
I'm very tempted buying one to have some FXes missing in the KPA, and the cost is so low (70€) you could own a few of them dialed as single pedals ...
The basic amp tones sounds surprisingly good (I would say as good as the Helix lol ) . this toy could be useful for small jams when visiting friends , when the KPA is way overkill and too precious to carry around (ahhh my precious) ...
What kills me is the US price : 50$ vs 69€ in europe, that's almost a 50% diff !!
Hi there is also the great Wah pedal booster trick
check the related thread here :
The wah booster trick : use the exp pedal to adjust the gain
yeah good stuff !!! I especially dig the ZZtop one , mind to share the rigs ?
Welcome and have fun with the best piece of guitar computer ever made
Wow , that was fantastic, and so fast , your fingers are flying on the fretboard O_o
Yes use their guitars, as it's one of the most important part in their tone (guitar - amp interaction) .
I've been profiling like a mad man for the last two weeks on 4 types of guitars and figured out that - given a single tone - I needed to profile 4 times since the sweet spots on the amp where not exactly the same.
Please note in the comments/tags which type of guitar was used at profiling and the type of pickups used.
excellent ideas mates, internal loop samples would also be great while setting up the stage before a gig : choose a tone, loop the sample and go where the public will be standing , and hear by yourself what they will hear.
I vote for this idea too !
Welcome, I got a a pair of HS7 , they are great on the high and mid range, lack a lil bit of bottom, but the HS8 will do it. Don't forget to eq the output in the master section of the KPA.
Yes, the growl is great Sam !
