Yeah killer tone on the tele , the best matching guitar for most rigs on the KPA IMO.

I second that, I did a test on rigs 01 (clean) and 13 (with maxon OD) are my favorites (merged profiles) . This is a superb profiling session, you totally nailed the silverface jangle on these, I could'nt stop playing the Fender, they also take FX superbly well, including the boosts. The cabs on the merged are really good, this is not often the case on fenders. This is very close to M Britt's profiles as another user said.
An awesome work, you should upload some of them on the RE , they are also well tagged.

Here is a smooth one , in a soul/jazzy vibe, I'm gathering ideas and tones for a jam.
Lots of clean stuff inside, on a jazzbox and a solid body.

Strange ! you should plug the controller pedal in the other plug , and re-init it as a wah control.
Then choose a rig with a distinctive clean vs driven gain in order to feel the difference better.
If it's still acting as a vol pedal, you may have a corrupted setup , I did encounter the problem once or twice.
-
Al rite, let's try this option , I never used it in the past, since it doesn't look badass enough

thx to all for answers
OK no probz Don , bye bye 'Hendrix edit mode' - I used to set up the Trem rate or chorus depth by hand sometimes.
I'm on the way to get a FCB , but I liked the fact having to go to a gig by foot , with just my guitar & KPA on my back.

Yes having to press exit is a pain to me , especially live, I'd like to have the choice I had on previous releases, this was very convenient.
-
They won't be available on Rig EX, some morons constantly rated his rigs with 1 star, what a pity...
I cannot understand people doing this, and acting so stupidly. My approach is to get a positive critic when some aspects of the rigs don't suit my tastes, and give a very high vote when I really like a rig.
Profiling takes lots of time and blast your ears & gear , theses efforts have to be taken into consideration

Thx mates, it's a pity that this feature has disappeared. I have a live gig Friday and no pedalboard , I used to switch my FX by hand (sustaining a note by left hand and switching the FX with the right hand, Jimi Hendrix style !!!)...
I have to test furthermore and see if I'm able to switch FXs live.

hmm here is my setting :
1:pedal type 1 Wah Wah
2:pedal off
Pedal 1 is set as expression (type1) while 2 is off
Init pedal 1 and check for a value change when you toe.I also have the WahPedal to vol UNchecked (on page 9)
be aware that a massive gain increase acts also as a vol boost, not only drive, but if you're going for a 12db boost, you'll be able to go from clean to lead with the wah booster, a fantastic feature.
-
it's already here, just set your max gain with the gain knob, adjust the wah booster to MINUS 100, then you got unboosted at heel up and boosted at max down , with all the intermediate variations between...
BTW this is the best way yo test the gain range on new rigs, just lock this wah booster on a slot and browse a selection.

Hi, I lost my 'direct edit ' mode , that allows direct FX switching with a single short button press.
I cannot find the info on the forums or the wikpa.
Can someone point the right method to get the function back ?
-
Hi, I'm wondering how can I set 'edit mode on' on my FXs ( active FX with a single short button press, long press to edit ) , I cannot find this mode anymore e and didn't find info here & the WIKPA ?
Thx

The Definition parameter in the AMPLIFIER section is your friend
Yeah thx Don I already know this great tool, this is my favorite parameter with the Gain one , they work really well together.

HI , I also use the yamaha HS series
.
The HS8 have more bass than the HS7 and better amp feel, but the HS7 are perfect for mixing and got the best mids around, while keeping the neighbors happy. I also listen to lots of music thru the HS7 and find them very pleasant in this regard. I'll probably add a bass box sooner or later. The HS5 might be another great candidate with a very low price, they still got the fantastic mids from the HS7.
-
Yeah, thx for the collection, cool tones.
-
Hi & thx a lot for your efforts, while I really liked the cleans, the distorded ones are much too bright on my gear (Yamaha HS7) , I bet they will sound much better on a mix. I appreciate the differences in colors with the pedals.
The clean fender has a distinctive doobie brothers 'long train runnin' feel that I love, one of the best fender around, for sure.

I did upload a few Les Paul modded rigs from classic profiles fount on the rig EX . Credits should go to the owners ...
Anyway try these :
trainwreck clone LP by joptunes
JCM800 KKing RIB_LP
Davoli Carlton LPThey should deliver what you need and are very tweak-able , you'll also get some fantastic cleans by reducing the gain.
-
yes there are volume issues especially on cleans and some are 'muffled' , but It's not a major problem. As I said I had to up the gain and remove a comp stom on 'clean' to get a great dynamic and punchy clean.
I did vote 5 stars from my kemper on my 4/5 favorites , I don't really know if my votes will be taken to the Rig exchange...
-
Fantastic, I'll try these ones ASAP, thx again.
