(...) It would be really great to have that option with the KPA tuner. (...)

Any chance that this is implemented any time soon?

I'm on the sunny beach right now and it's a PITA to log in and read this forum on my iPhone without Tapatalk (or other mobile solution).
For those with a LG2, Xavier has released a (minor) LG2 firmware update: when KPA integration is activated, the current KPA performance name is now displayed on the LG2 screen, above the current rig name.
Here's a (low resolution) video of my band performing live:
http://youtu.be/fObA5al_7gk
You can see my KPA - or at least its LEDs - at the top right of the image. The KPA goes straight into the PA and switching is done automatically via MIDI, sync'd with the click track of the drummer (just the same way that a previous poster said he does).
Please keep in mind that both the video resolution and my playing don't do the KPA justice at all
Hi,
Maybe the Peak FCB4N2:
http://www.peak2005.com/j/midi…oot-controller-ver20.html
Or the discontinued Axess MFC5.
LOL
Good one!
Typical Catalan sense of humor
I can't wait for Ara Polarmic to be "out now"
Sweet, yeah!
And they're from my country.
The company is called Aratechlabs.
"Ara" means "now" in Catalan.
I'm on 5.0...isn't that the default of the old FW?
I was wondering the same...
I'm on 5.0 (old FW) with my Blade Texas and 7.0 with my Music Man Reflex.
I'm somehow confused now...
I purchased one of these little magic boxes from multivir1.
He shipped it to me very quickly and he was amazingly friendly and helpful throughout all the process.
The box looks very professional and built like a tank. It's really sturdy and compact - even more than I expected - which I love. It works like a charm.
PS:
For those who want 2-way communication between the KPA and the Little Giant and plan to use the LG with just ONE 7-pin MIDI cable together with a MIDI box like mine, you have to make sure that the LG MIDI out connector is set for 2-way communication. You can choose this option when ordering a LG.
In case you already own a LG and you don't know its MIDI out configuration, if you use a 7-pin MIDI cable - with all 7 pins wired - and you don't get 2-way communication, then probably you'll have to set the LG MIDI out properly yourself by opening the LG and shifting the internal jumpers as described in the appendix B of the LG manual (pages 144 and 146 of the current version of the manual, v3.0.6)

Missing that feature so much...
QuoteIf you actually decide to build a batch, I would be interested

Just great!
I would be more than willing to order one
I re-installed 2.01. In 2.1 almost all high gain presets had less gain than in 2.01...
Strange...
Now in 2.01 everything is ok again...
Hi
i have this too all rigs have less gain in 2.q
after going baack to 2.01 all is ok
what is the problem in 2,1?
Maybe you had the input section (clean & dist. sense) unlocked before updating and it is locked afterwards?
Nice!
I've also checked the Gordius web site and I've seen they have uploaded a document describing a typical LittleGiant setup for Kemper Profiler control as well as 3 sample setups for turning the LittleGiant into a dedicated Kemper controller:
http://www.gordius.be/midi-footcontroller-support.php
Thank you both!
Actually the Performance Mode has got a bug that sometimes let the KPA "forget" your stored profiles. In this case the slot shows "Initialised rig". According to the guys at Kemper's this bug will be solved with next firmware-update.
This happened to me. Do you know how to restore the missing rig in the corresponding slot?
Hi, just wondering if there's a tweaked Andy version of this pack, i had the pack since it was released just wondering because i read that before on this post
thanks!
Just wondering if the tweaked Pack 5 has been released.
the Air Chorus is one of the best methods to create a gentle stereo effect.
I couldn't agree more. I just resort to the Air Chorus when I need a wider stereo effect on a specific part of a song.
Thank you for the warm welcome!
I've managed to download some profiles included some from TAF and I'm really impressed so far. Still feeling like a fish out of water but getting to know how things work. Hopefully spend more time at the weekend. I'm finding a lot of the profiles are too hot causing my interface to clip (MOTU 8Pre) but the volume controls sort that pretty quickly. Not sure yet whether that is the best way, and I'm not sure whether to rely mainly on the Master volume or individual profile volume so some more manual reading is needed I think.
Anyway, all feels good so far.
Welcome, Simon!
As for the loud volume, you may want to check the cab volume and/or make sure there is not an EQ boost in the X slot.
Enjoy!
