ive never yet used my kemper live for this same reason ! there is no resolution unfortunately. i've tried full range speakers, several power amps through guitar cabinets but nothing seems to help. when put up against my marshall jmp's or 5153's the kpa cannot compete live. the kpa was designed for the studio and thats where it reigns....
still one of my best purchases ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to tell Trivium that they use the kpa live everytime now.. and recorded their last album (cab free and direct) with the Kemper..
there has to be something Christoph Kemper can tell you... these things are being used live by so many pro's now..
good luck man
(Trivium - Brave This Storm (AUDIO) ) search that on youtube to hear it and the live versions
Headphones out to ipad....
I do this also into my amp at home.. sounds amazing..
sounds nice man... how did you mic it
much more natural that drum beats.. but metal is maybe out of the question
Really nice yes, i hope someone might be able to capture the tones from one...
Does somebody have one of these that they could profile using the various wattages.. especially the 23w dirty tones...

I was just going to kid around when I thought of searching for this.....but darned if there aren't a whole bunch of different sizes on this website to choose from. See if any of these work for you.
Very nice ideas
It kinda sucks because I have mine covered with a t-shirt on my desk here and
I would love to actually have it covered and be able to see it or have some nice
KPA cover ...
was thinking of getting a big t pot cover
Can I ask you guys if your problem has gone away with 3.2.1
I noticed today while playing rigs from the RM via the KPA unit, that they sounded a little muffled still, and when I played rigs from the KPA itself (rigs that were not from the rm), they sounded clearer
thanks
You can add your own tag in one of the comment fields of each rig, to make a custom search term - something like "amp4bass" would keep them separate from the guitar amps.
I have mine in a separate folder in Rig Manager, but tagging them in a common folder would work just as well.
I need to find all the Bass Amps first and if any new ones come, I still wont find them on the search
After updating to 2.3.1 I can now see my favorites as they are an my Unit... very nice..
I'm wondering if I drag them all off into a file on my PC, will they dissapear form the Profiler too, I'll try later with a small nnumber
If this is the case, it's great.. it would be nice to have some smaller folders on the unit, we have fav, non fav etc.. but just a couple more smaller ones that only hold maybe 10 of the best favorites that we use mostly...
the sound is fine now, no changes in tone when switching back and forth..
cool
PS.. I was trying to get all the BASS rigs to show on the RM, but there is no single work that brings them all up.. obviousley bass bring guitar ampas up, bassmans etc... is it poss to add something to the bass guitar profiles so we could bring them all up without any guitar bassmans etc...
I gotta say wow too... brilliant mixing.. those guitars sound amazing
Is it normal, that the rig manager takes 10-15 minutes to download the rigs from the kemper, everytime you start it ?
No not normal.. mine opens in seconds with all the rigs there already...
Check my post guys.. I had the same probs... all solved now..
Display Morefound the "Rig chances sound when you switch forwards and back again". system reset (hold system + turn on) does not help me.
edit.... played now for halv an hour... just don´t know if im hearing ghosts or not.... argh...
edit 2... i hear it... it´s like that sometimes the rig gets a blanket over it, and if you switch forward and back it back to normal clarity. all rigs do it... (info - i have -3.5db bass on the main output EQ - maybe that can be relevant)
I second that. its at the point that after tweaking and saving thatI am a little nervous about trying other rigs.. it does seem to be different when i come back to it....
