I'll have to try the new ones but your DI's are great after adding a cab. Nice work.

I have an Axe 2 and my KPA sitting side by side as I type. The KPA as far as mono recording can do anything the Axe 2 can do in that arena. I actually feel it records better. The Axe has more tweak ability as far as stereo rigs go but when you are splitting hairs in the direct sound arena it's really just that......splitting hairs.......

So far IME the free ones have been my faves as well.......so.......please keep submitting!

I haven't had a ton of time to play thru the 2......just getting to it today but so far the earlier posted profiles from 5.0 sound pretty much identical to the new 6+ firmware. I'm not promising anything unless I get more time......hopefully I do before I return it. But like I said I don't think you are missing anything you don't already have with the 40 previously submitted.

The Cobra Diffneye 5747 tweaked to my liking is still one of my current faves....so underrated.

Just went to Mesa's site and it's 2 channels....so that clears things up a little...I'm done nit picking....just like when I owned a Stiletto IRL I preferred Crunch with extra gain.....no difference here....
-
Those are the pedals he used, pretty sure those have been consistent throughout his profiles (someone correct me if i'm wrong). DM is the Darkmattter, TIM is the Tim Overdrive, WL is the Whitelight.
OK well that helps a little.....I guess I need to look at a Stiletto as far as the channels go. I used to have a Series I a long time ago. So I see Clean, Crunch....but then he's got Ch2 Drive and then some that just say Stiletto and the pedal being used but no channel....a little confusing....it's been a while since my amp whoring days where I had a revolving door for amps in the Pre-Axe-FX/Kemper days...

Meh double post...

I bought the Stilleto profiles and they sound good, but what the heck do the names mean? SpecificalIy what is DM and TIM? =4, WL?? I think you should rethink your labeling process for profiles. Just my opinion....also what series is the Stiletto? I or II? It's sounds great though so thanks for the effort for sure. Always wanted a Stiletto II.

I'm borrowing my bros II next week. I'm going to do some profiles.....doubt I will do 40 though....

Yes, you have to, unless you shot a DI Profile, and mic placement is very important.
If you use DI you aren't using a mike then correct?
-
Holy crap Ray.....many profiles you put up LOL!! Thanks man!!

Thanks! I got blasted with a 2star rating, but I'm really digging the tones. I find almost every profile sounds decent if you mix up the cabs.
I just landed on Saturday a Salvation Stonerverb (Orange Rockerverb) & Camerock (Cameron) that slay...that Camerock has the most intense "feel" of any amp I ever played, should be a good challenge for the Kemper. The nuances are insane.
Due today is a JF Trilogy (5150>5153) and a return of the Gigmods SL+. Yes, this should be a summer of profiling for meBring them on......my hungry KPA needs more profile feeding..

5 Metal Horns!! I gotta try this :D, once I finish installing my new BareKnuckle BlackHawks!
Cheers
Let me know how those things sound. I use the Nailbombs (which are great) but the Blackhawks interest me...

Impressive right out the gate! Good job!
-
Dude the Cobra profiles are the bomb!! Best Cobra-ish tones yet!
-
