Can you do the KSE End Of Heartache tone match on that Sound Cloud page? There is only one Framus Cobra profile on the exchange and it doesn't do anything for me.

BTW just FYI....I'm pretty certain Machine Head used a 5150 on Burn My Eyes. That's been their signature amp from the beginning..

Really cool and bluffing, a dream for cover bands !!
Thx for that !
So now we make a list of sounds we want ??
Yeah super cool for doing this.....but now you are going to open the flood gates for requests lol. I'll put mine in right now....anything off Fear Factory "Demanufacture" would be awesome...
Seriously though thanks a bunch....I'm a big fan of the tones off Machine Head "Burn My Eyes" cd...

Hey Channel 2 with no cab is not too bad.......added some graphic EQ and some reverb and it's good to go.....great job.
-
Nice....I like that preamp....I was big into the Rocktron rack stuff in the 90's....I gotta try it..
-
Cool an SS amp.....I gotta try it.

I am doing some ENGL Savage 120 profiling at the moment and will be uploading high-gain rhythm and lead profiles with sound clips soon. Hopefully they will be to your liking
Bring them on!! HUGE ENGL fan here........any DI are certainly appreciated as well..

I like the 6160 alot.........DNL the Recto one......thanks again.
-
Sounds great definitely will grab these thanks!
-
Cool........I still haven't uploaded your direct profiles and will add this one too. Direct is good for us power amp/cab users.......clip sounds good....
-
The 6505 w/57 sounds amazing.......the ENGL sounds great too.........incredi ble thank you.
-
Sounds great......time to upload it to the Rig Exchange.

New profile up. Best to go with what you know, and this setup has been my hard rock amp of choice for some time.
Amp: ENGL 570 SE, Ch 3 (Lead II)
Cab: Palmer ADIG-ST (Brown mode)
Overdrive: Mad Professor Sweet HoneyI've uploaded two different versions of this profile, one with the Sweet Honey on and the other off. Use whatever works best for you. My second favorite overdrive, the RockBox Boiling Point, didn't profile as accurately, possibly due to its Tube Screamer ancestry - and a third was rejected for being too noisy! That said, the KPA's profiles are, if anything, quieter than the original signal chains which is a real plus.
This profile is a bit of a compromise, since I decided to leave off my usual post-Palmer rack EQ and just tweak the rigs after the fact. I hope you find it to be useful and practical, good luck and please let me know if it can be made even bettah!
Cheers,
-djh
Thanks so much for this profile. The DI sounds incredible with my power amp, 2 cabs and an ISP powered sub. Its like I own an Engl again. ....

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I'm going to try this today if I have time, but can't you get a good DI profile off an fx loop send? May have to see how well that works.I also have a Mesa Quad that I need to profile too. Profiled the Mesa studio because I just traded it off for a Titan preamp, that should get some interesting profiles too!
BTW Shred, haven't seen you on other message boards. Are you becoming Kemperized? Curious as to how you are digging this vs your axe.
Pete
LOL No man I've just been playing this thing non-stop the past 2 days and not posting. I posted on Rig Talk today.......so far my impression is that it does some cool things the Axe doesn't and vice versa. It is more of a mono thing but what I like about it is that it's an opportunity to try an amp that you don't own or at least someone's profiled version of the amp. The Axe FX for me is also awesome because it allows great processing of sound so you can dial in an incredibly wicked tone......especially in stereo which goes with my stereo setup nicely....but I've never been interesting of "emulating" anything with it. The Kemper on the other really authenticates alot of that vibe directly.......so that's really cool.......my first impressions at least....
The plan was originally to dump the Standard for an Axe 2 but now I'm more inclined to keep the Standard and the KPA because they provide 2 different things for me personally....

I did like 18 or so different profiles of that amp... I'll have em all up here eventually. Even the almost clean tones are mean as hell. Mike Fortin knows how to voice an amp!
And you know how to profile! Your Studio 3 is liquid shred heaven and your Splawn Marshall is also ripping. Get those other ones up man ASAP!!

Welcome, Shred, good to see you here!
It would be cool if we could get one file with all the DI Profiles in it.
I was doing a demo in a music store the other day and I was looking for the DI Profiles on my KPA, I knew they were there, but scrolling through trying to find them wasted time, I needed them instantly.
Keep in mind, a guitarists attention span is very limited, you need to blow them away instantly, bore them for 2 minutes and they're off to the other side of the music store looking at Fenders & PRS.Thanks for the friendly words.....yeah I gotta start renaming these things together because I spend ALOT of time scrolling.....LOL..
-
Thanks Pete. I have been rocking the heck out of your Fortin Marshall profile......kick ass.
-
I use a stereo tube power amp and 2 cabs.........found a few such as the ENGL 570, 6505, etc. It's not a big deal as alot of profiles sound great with just the cab disabled but thought I would toss it out there anyway. Having a great time with the Kemper.

Thanks man that one made me smile. I used to own a JC 120 20 years ago.....love that sound.
