Could you not put the ploytuner before the voice effect? Never used a ploytuner but assume it would have a clean bypass.

I take that you tried it in the loop already?

A JTV with a Ravish Sitar is lots of fun!

Wow Bruno! Just listen to Taxman and, dude, you got skills! Not just the performing but the mixing and production are so spot on ... Very impressed.

The fact that Jimi played a right handed Strat upside makes it non standard. The bridge pickup slanting a different direction and the alternate string tension due to the upside down tuning pegs plus the tremolo bar falling down across the strings would make for a different playing instrument. How much that mattered to getting the sound he got, I'm not sure. I've always been tempted to buy a used lefty and restring it as a righty to see how it felt and played.
Back on topic, I've also been itching to try a Suhr!

Crap Doux that sounded good! What guitar did you use? And please post the rig if you can!

I'm using the Octa-Capture and would recommend it. The auto sense feature makes getting levels very easy. When linking to the KPA via spdif, the Octa-Capture automatically detects that the KPA wants to be the master clock and switches its clock to external. Power off the KPA and it flips itself to internal clock saving a few mouse clicks.

I just got an automated reply with a ticket number. I figure with weekend I won't hear back until early next week. I'm actually not sure how long it was dead as it's on the high end of the volume knob; I was auditioning an acoustic patch and needed more volume when I noticed it.

I noticed a couple of days ago that I have a dead led on my black toaster. I've opened a ticket with support but thought I would revive this thread to see if others are still seeing this problem. I'm on the latest beta firmware if it matters.

I'm running my JTV through the HD500 to the Kemper and don't notice any additional latency. I will try running the 1/4 inch out to the KPA again though as I was in the honeymoon phase when I tried it first it!

If it's only happening in the first 10 seconds maybe it's a timing issue with the HD acquiring the clock from the KPA? Just speculating at this point though.

Loved this!

Are you using Spdif? If so, it might be problem with the way you have the KPA and soundcard set up.

He says he's "looking forward to fiddling about with the Kemper" so it's likely the profiles don't exist yet. But it sounds like the amps do, so hopefully we'll hear from him again in the near future...
If it's the same JonG I'm thinking of, the KPA didn't work out for him; I think he went back the real amps.

Hmm, that sounds like an interesting solution. Is there any signal loss/sound quality issues you notice?
I have plugged direct into the KPA to compare but didn't notice a difference. I'm also using a JTV Variax via VDI into the HD so that another big reason I've kept it in my signal chain.

Does anyone know a way to use the HD as a controller & still use the HD tuner?
I do it by running my guitar through the HD first. The patch I created has no amp/cab selected and has the mixer pushing all the signal to the left output which I plug into the KPA. I'm also using some of the effects on the HD and not only to control the KPA via midi.
