Anyone have any HD500 Edit patches they care to share? I'd love to see how some of you have set up your HD500's as controllers.

Like a good drug dealer ... give them a taste, get them hooked and they'll come back for more!

I don't like to limit myself so I say a JTV-69 Variax.

It would be interesting to know the number of users who have actually experienced this aliasing while playing through a KPA. I'm not denying that it exists (I can hear it in some of the clips posted) but the degree to which this is a problem might be an interesting datapoint.
Probably because of the style of music I play and the rigs I use, I haven't experienced it so I guess if we were to keep a count

You're better off mounting it on a rack tray, just drill 4 holes and use the screw from the rubber feet to fix it. Is very stable this way
Would that stable enough for an angled rack like this?

How about Native Instruments Maschine?

I voted for the original as I like the format and size but would love to have some rack ears for it!

So does Steve's Music online ... $1599.
Still showing $1599 on the Moog Audio site in Canada.

I've been having so much fun playing with my KPA that I haven't recorded much. I'm monitoring my KPA in stereo currently but was wondering whether I should go mono into my DAW when I record. Comments?

Mine came with 2 power cords -- a three prong (which I'm using) and what I think is a universal power cord (no ground prong). Check your box ... maybe you missed the three prong in the packaging.

Thought some KPA owner doing lots of profiles might appreciate this:

If you go with this new smaller design, would it be possible to share the Tap button with the Tuner and leave the Loop on it's own at the top?

How about when you refine a profile ... wouldn't the type of guitar you use, influence the refine process? If so, anyone ever use more than one guitar?

For me, I just want to have a place locally where I can take the KPA in to get fixed if it has a problem. Usually, the only time I veer away and get something from outside of Canada, is if their is a huge mark up in the price. Surprisingly enough, the KPA is pretty much on par with what I would get in the US.
Also, I wouldn't hold much stock in any ETA dates you get from a store. I found that out after waiting almost a year to get my Variax JTV-69.
