In case the interface causes a problem try to deactivate it in the windows sound system settings, see PDF.
After deactivation it will disappear in the list of available audio connections.
Just deactivating the audio interface in the device manager doesn't have the same effect, don't know if this work too.

Habe das entsprechend deiner Beschreibung mit meiner Soundkarte und Cubase ausprobiert und das funktioniert so.
Ich würde mal folgendes untersuchen, falls nicht schon geschehen :
wenn die Gitarre in den KPA-Front-Input gestöpselst ist und über Main Out oder Headphone abgehört wird,
kommt Du dann der korrekte Ampsound raus ?
Falls ja, hörst Du den gleichen Sound, wenn Du die Gitarre in den Return Input gestöpselt und den Source Input auf den Return Input Reamp geschaltet hast ?
Falls ja, ist evtl. der Output von deinem Audiointerphase zu schwach, so dass der Amp nicht hoch genug ausgesteuert wird und der Eindruck entsteht, dass der Sound unbearbeitet wiedergegeben wird. Ggfs. auf ein Rig wechseln, dass ordentlich Distortion hat, um den Unterschied besser zu hören.
Tritt das Problem auch mit anderen Rigs auf ?

Es darf also kein geerdetes Effektgerät an den Instrumenten-Input angeschlossen werden ?
Ich denke da z.B. an einen alten BigMuff Deluxe, der mit einem Netzkabel mit Erdung auf das Gehäuse ausgestattet war und damit auch der Ausgangsbuchse.
Oder möglicherweise auch eine Erdverbindung über ein Netzteil, wie z.B. das Harley Benton PowerPlant, bei dem idiotischerweise der Minuspol der 9V-Ausgänge mit Erde verbunden ist und das somit eine Erdung des KPA-Inputs über angeschlossene Effektgeräte herstellen kann.

Sometimes works better, sometimes worse depending on the track. Also very useful for slowing down a track – and it is free !

I have the same behavior in browser mode but not in performance mode. Don't remember the OS version when this appeared first.

The dimensions in the article name on the Harbor-site does not match the specification in text.
I suspect the spec is right and the KPA will fit well in this tool case.
KPA:
Width: 37.8 cm (14.88 inches), Height: 21.7 cm (8.54 inches), Depth: 17.3 cm (6.81 inches)
The KPA fits tightly to the side walls, what is ok. But the inside pockets interfere with the insertion, as they have no closure.
With velcro dots or stripes on the inside of the pockets the problem can be easily solved. On the fabric I had to secure them with hot glue,
because the tape does not work there.

This tool case works quite good for me. Not too expensive and has additional room for some other equipment, like a pedal and cabels.
