Hello everyone!
I have 2 toasters ... one at home, one at church.
I regularly update the home unit, today moving to OS 7.5.3. (I haven't applied updates to the church toaster since last year.) My hope was to simply create a backup from home, restoring my church profiler to be of exact likeness.
To my surprise, the church profiler couldn't find the backup via USB stick. Do I need to separately update specific OS levels before the profiler recognizes the new backup?
Please advise! Thank you.
*Update: In answer to my own question: YES! (First: OS 7.3.2 ... then 7.5.3) -
Hey friends!
Please share "best practice" methods for getting rigs to be within similar volume levels (without compromising the quality / integrity of each).
All suggestions greatly appreciated!

Fixed!
I'd read elsewhere to try a different USB cable. Same port + different cable = success.

Hello everyone!
Only until after updating both my profiler OS and Rig Manager software am I now unable to synch between my pc and profiler. Various restarts, to no avail. Ideas?
Thanks!

I cannot seem to find within my account the option to change my email address. Please help. Feeling like I'm missing the obvious. Thank you!

I have 2 toasters, each identical to the other - except one's white and the other black.
I have my doubts this question is even necessary, but ... can I expect the FCB1010, when programmed for one, to work identically with the other?
I'm just getting into the FCB1010, having also installed the Uno chip. I've heard rumors the FCB1010's a nightmare to program. I've heard the opposite as well. Please advise on the best tutorial sources for a rookie.
Thanks guys!

I see nothing but benefit having an internal metronome. Why not? Are we running out of room? Those wanting to haul around / insert / apply an external click can always do so. All-in-one capacity is much appreciated; in this case, especially when practicing alone with headphones.

You guys are awesome. Thank you!

Thanks guys! MUCH appreciated!!
After backup, do I remove my profiles before importing his data?
-
Thanks Ingolf! So in essence, the contents of his KPA will be replacing mine entirely ... and I'll later need to add my profiles / rigs back into my machine, yes?

Hello friends,
A friend (already owning a KPA, but leaving it behind) is arriving soon, hoping to import his Performance Mode data onto my KPA for an upcoming show. Is this possible via USB? Please share concerns and/or tips I should be aware of. Assume I'm a rookie. Thanks!

Yes. Sounding great too!
-
Thanks! Working great. [ Apologies for inadvertently referring to RCA inputs as 1/8". ]

Hi Guys!
I've heard the Kemper sounds GREAT through home stereo systems. Best way to connect to a receiver accepting 1/8" inputs only?
Thanks!!

Gratitude brings the best results, my friends. And given the proven overall quality of the KPA, I'm confident this team takes whatever time necessary to produce additional products of equal reputation. I've not yet walked in their respective shoes, so I'm in no position to assume they've deliberately left anyone hangin'. As someone already eluded to, everything beyond what came in the original packaging is a bonus to me. A similar attitude will yield favorable results for you as well.

Searching for something else, I happened upon my old Behringer V-Amp2 FS112V footswitch. Will this baby suffice to simply move (up / down) through profiles? [ And quite honestly, I just don't wanna blow anything up. ]

Taking the KPA through Minneapolis airport security was interesting.
"And what is this?" . "It's a guitar amp." . Long stare. "We'll have to x-ray this unit. Please step aside." Long wait, feeling almost criminal.

Thanks. I'd ordinarily use PA monitoring options, but things are uncommonly limited in this particular situation.
