Awesome stuff man!
Thanks Jaymz! Late this week, the 6505 pack =)
I had the same problem. Exactly. It will die and go back sometimes. I had to sent to kemper, they replaced the whole front panel.
One different thing from my kpa was the knobs, the old ones that goes through the profiles rolled freely. The new ones has some kind of light "steps".
Just send it, it will not work properly.
Everyone who bought the profiles so far received a sneak peak of the 6505 pack! More clips comming soon...
FINALLY! I´ve been waiting for this! Any Idea when those guitar profiles are coming?
Thank you!!! I hope you enjoy those profiles. I'm still making the demos and picking the guitar profiles! BTW, I'll post this profile for free:

Hey guys! Most of you know me for my extensive profile testing, and for some of my unreleased profiles (soundcloud.com/fenixdoido).
The time has come. As I promissed some months ago, I would sell profiles directed to cut through the mix.
I'll start with the BASS SOUND.
A MASSIVE bass sound is the key to achieve a great mix/live sound, and a vicius guitar sound.

Display MoreHey fenix, I am not sure if you are correct. I know that the output of PATENTED devices is not covered by the original patent. However, COPYRIGHT is different. Derivative works of a copyrighted work are still covered by the original copyright. If I take a picture of a copyrighted image, then photoshop the crap out of my photo, I still can't legally distribute it (unless it falls under "fair use" exclusions). Even if I don't even use a device but simple memory and later paint the image, I still can't legally distribute it. Copyright protects against copying, regardless of the means and the "quality" of the copy. So long as your goal is to copy a copyrighted work, it doesn't matter if it's bit-accurate or not, or whether you transformed the profile into audio form and back into a profile or just copied the file on your computer.
The irony of if this were actually applied is that software-based amplifiers could not legally be profiled, while real amps are fair game. But why SHOULD they fall into different classifications?
Which raises the question of whether or not profiles of the Axe II are legal or not. It'd be the same way with 2 KPA's for copyrighted profiles.
Ultimately, I think Kemper should change their software to give commercial profilers some means of forcing registration on their profiles. This avoids the IP issue altogether - just make it impossible, then it doesn't matter if it's legal or illegal.
I see your point. IMO we cant be so strict to law. Thats why I said that the principle is the same (copy a sound). IMO, wouldnt be right.
Commercial software would be nice =) An idea would be to lock a profile to a KPA, for exemple.
My last 2 cents, I promisse.
What If I profile a profile (using 2 kempers). According to what was said before, new bits and bytes would make the profiles mine. That being said, I would able to share the profiles I created with the other KPA.
If you take that performance, isolate the different elements and figure out how to manipulate a little toy kit with signal processing to sound like Bonham's set, then sell a plug-in that lets other people get those timbres with their toy kits, you've copied the timbres but not the actual sounds that Bonham made.
Well, I desagree. Just like the rappers did on the 80s, take some part of the sound, taking samples without permition, etc.
As I said before, you got your point, I got mine, thats fine
Profiles aren't sounds, they're computer files that control timbre and dynamic response settings. IP law doesn't protect timbre and dynamic response, and the sound engineer in your scenario didn't have his computer files ripped off. If someone match EQs EVH's tone on Eruption and then uses that tone to play Mary Had A Little Lamb, there is no IP issue at all.
Actually, they replicates a sound. Thats its objective.
And you are right. My mistake. Not intelectual proprety formally. But thats still a rip from anothers person work.
In your country, the absense of law makes impossible to protect the copy of anothers person sound... IMO it doesnt matter the tool. The resulting product is the copy of anothers person work.
Just in case, If I match eq some famous drums samples avaliable with another snare and sell its ok, right? I`m sharing a "new" bits and bytes product...
But this is only my opinion. I`m not saying you are wrong, just 2 different view points
Well, IMO, if the final kemper profile (the sound) is considered intelectual proprety...
All Petes matched eq profiles are ilegal too, since it copies the work of another sound engineer.
Anyways, I've always been against match eq.
I'm not saying this is nice/moral or whatever. Just my 2 cents;
I'm glad he deleted the "community"
BTW some videos tones you posted are boss HM tone =)

Just a sneak peak on my next youtube cover... All guitars and bass are KPA =)
Pete, nice pack!
I was working on something like this, but not matching with eq, but actual amp and mic!
I feel that the attack on the master of puppets is kind strange...
I feel the same, like too much volume gave taht speaker breakup, but it sounds awesome.
