Finally somebody who dared to speak out! The Kemper is an awesome tool when it comes to deliver real life amp sound. It's not an audio recording interface or a library... But, of course if there's a library option in the future, I'll be happy for that! But, in the mean time, these awesome units (I have two), they still deliver the best tones I've heard from any device so far...

Got this Message from Xavier today:
Attention!
We initially forgot to update the identification string which the UnO4Kemper firmware sends to the KPA.
As a result, the first batch of v.1.2 EPROMS will show as "UnO for Kemper v.1.1" in the system menu of the KPA.
This has been corrected on 20/12/2013. When in doubt, check the label on the chip, which mentions the correct version.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got my new chip today, but when I turn on the FCB it says "UnO for Kemper v1.1"
I thought it were supposed to be v1.2?
Did I miss something here?Rgds

I concur. Easily in my top 5 profiles. Einar Nysted has made some killer profiles but this one is one of the best hot rodded Marshall tones for the Kemper. Here is my clip that uses the profile: https://soundcloud.com/gibson5…r-carry-on-my-wayward-son
Wow!
Excellent playingGlad to hear you like it!
It's truly an amazing amp, and I'm planning to do some more profiles of it.
There's so many different settings for the amp, from good old Plexi tones, via real -80's Hair Metal to modern high gain...
The best thing though is that it really cleans up well using the guitars volume control.Regards

Interesting reading!
Just curious to hear if anyone have tried the bigger DXR12?
Are there any benefits going for the 12" speakers compared to the 10"?Also, I had the chance to test the HK Audio L5 112 FA.
HK AudioTo me they sounded amazing, but I don't know if they are that much better than the DXR12's that it's worth the extra bucks..?
Has anyone else tried these?
They also come in wedge's: L5 112 XA

Sorry if I hijacked your thread Ingolf!Regards

I've got a friend which have at least two Wizards, and another who's got one.
Not sure abt the models though, at least one Wizard Metal as I recall..?
Will talk to them and see what happens... -
Yup!
But, I do use the FCBUno editor for it
Works perfect for me.... -
Dan also has beautiful long black hair and a tight little english ass....
Well, whatever works for you -
Yes,I totally agree...
This is my second amp from DG, and they both are awsome tonemonsters,
This one is more shaped to my liking due to the fact that it's got no clipping cirquit in it, instead it has an extra valve added.
This combined with all the extra features as Ressonance, Glass and so on really makes it a versatile amp -
Hi!
I just added a new profile of this great amp to the Rig Exchange.
This time I've tried to mix 2 microphones: 1 Neumann TLM103 & 1 Shure SM57...
Am I on to something here?
Any feedback would be appreciated!Thanks

Hey Man , no hassle
My Mother language isn't English either , so no problem .I stopped to play Marshall's amps sometime in late '80 ies , for the same reason I stop to play Fender and Gibson guitars .
Mass production, no QC , terrible factory setup , using cheap things for hardware and make a profit out of the brand name .That's why I am very suspicious to any Marshal, or Fender (guitars) or Gibson in the stores today .
They are rubbish in 90 % of case , sorry to all owners of such an equipment . You can call me purist , but that's just my humble opinion .
I was enough lucky to play my first gig back to 1968 , when I was 13 , on the real Fender amp , and later on real Marshall amps .Unfortunately , all that amps just gone by wind , we were not so sage to understand importance of amp quality of those golden times ...
We're thought it will last forever like that ..but we were wrong ...
Also , I must admit I didn't had a chance to play that particularly amp from your link .
Hope it is better than standard mass Marshall production .
That's why Kemper is solution to this problem -one can play honest boutique amps -Trainwreck , Tworock or Fargan .... at least with 80 % of reality .
Or to buy boutique guitars which are not so much expensive than mass produced things called guitars .
Back to subject , IMHO, Supro Jimi and Fargain are by far the best profiles for Hendrix tone , no any Marshall profile can get even close to it .
It is funny when digital , say virtual reality of Kemper shows and mirror "the real reality " of amps .....( i hope you will understand this non-English
Well, I see your point!
But this is the real deal, -just look at this info:
And yes, I've studied the inside of this amp myself

Hey Einar ,
Thanks very much for the generous offer , but I will stick to the Kemper at this point .It sound a little better to me
Well, that's what happens when my native language is not english
What I really meant was that I have it in-house, but haven't got around to profile it yet...

Hi!
I do have one of these rigs, complete with the speaker cabinets:
http://www.marshallamps.com/pr…productCode=Super%20100JHMaybe a profile of this would do the trick?
