I asked in another thread but maybe noone has seen it ... so I'll try it again here:
QuoteI can reproduce this issue. I'm assuming, that the Eureka firmware is
sending value 1 on MIDI CC# 30 each time you hit the button. This is
sufficient to control TAP tempo, but in order to use the Beat Scanner
most effectively, the footcontroller should send 1 when you push the
button, and 0 when you release it. This way the Beat Scanner would only
be active as long as you hold the button. We are looking into this, but
our options are limited. If a footcontroller doesn't indicate a release
of a button, we cannot respond to it."
I'm using an ART X-15 and before 2.x software I was able to tap the
tempo with the programmed bypass switch. Now I have the same that Beat
scanner is activated.
I can turn it off with next push - But I'd rather have the tap function !.In the X-15 manual I saw that there are several modes for bypass switch
but unfortunatly no change did bring the wished function.
There is no description for key-on and key-off so I think the unit can't do that.
Allthough in the table of modes for the bypass switch are columns "momentary" and "toggle" But like I said I tried all modes and wether no action at the KPA or Beat scanner is activated...So there are 2 questions:
1) Could someone tell me if there is a way to programm the bypass switch
of the X-15 (or maybe another switch) to get the tap function back ?2) Could it be that a later software version for the KPA would give the choice to get tap (like vefore) OR Beat scanner ?

Hi Alan, welcome and have fun with your profiler (I'm sure you will have ...)
-
Besides the fact that it's played excellently the profile seems to be very cool ...
-
I have it with different knobs, for example when dialing a MIDI position for the rig.
I think it's a physical issue with the endless encoder knobs ... -
I like the tracks very much, too !

Great Clip !!

I tried to approach Malcom's tone while profiling my JTM30 Marshall combo , but I was aiming at Ballbreaker's tone, so mine is not dirty enough for you.
Waraba - this is a damn pretty tone ! -

Sounds great Wich profile is it or better where to get it?

I'm wondering that there is no voting for FL Studio or Sonar ...
I used cubase til V 3 many years ago and liked it.Because of an undenieable offer for FL Studio Producer Bundle I bought it and am happy with it. Worth a look !
Much earlier I used cakewalk (only MIDI) and bought SONAR X1 (upgraded to X2 last year).
I think it's a great tool, too, but I can't find out how to work with it without doing some lessons and I haven't the time for that...
so I mostly work with FL Studio - find it easier to handle. -
What great pics
I have downloaded your profiles and will try them at the weekend ... THANKS ! -
Gut gemacht ... well made Ingolf !
All well but guitars are the best ... not only for the sound -
Oh sorry ...in between I missed your two posts ... will send you an Email ...
... and funny ... while posting this I missed your next post ...
