I'm using a guitar cab so interested if there's a way to search Rig Exchange for just direct profiles? Thanks!

Is there a list of the stomps and effects in the Kemper and what they are modeled after? The green scream is pretty obvious, but some of the other stomps, and other effects aren't for a guy like me. Is there a list out there?

Sorry for the simple question, but if I were to delete all of the rigs (345) that came on the Kemper, would the associated amps and cabs be gone as well? Just wondering if I got it down to say 20 rigs I wanted and that was it, if I would or wouldn't have access to all the standard rig amps and cabs.

Raoul, which rigs are you using for your distorted rhythm and lead tones with your yamahas? Would love to try them.

My Kemper and powered PA speaker show up today! Will have to get the daughter to bed extra quick tonight so I can play!

A stereo cable is fine, polarity doesn't matter, neither the pedal input in the Kemper (function is assignable separately), momentary is right. All what you need to do is to go to the System menu, page 4, and select for the pedal input you're using "Switch (Stereo) Rig Up/Down". That's it
Perfect! Thank you very much.

Hey guys, I'm very excited as I just ordered my Kemper this past weekend! This has probably been covered before so I apologize for the questions, but I did find some posts on here discussing the FS-6 and that it's a great pedal for switching up/down between rigs. This seems perfect for what I would want to do. My question(s) is basically on how exactly would I set the buttons on the FS-6 and then connect to the Kemper? So, I would want switch A to go down and switch B to go up on the Kemper for switching between rigs. What do I set the polarity switch to on each side of the pedal? And then I would switch the 'mode' button on both sides to 'momentary' right? Do I run a stereo cable out of the A/B 1/4 out to the Kemper's pedal input on the back? Does it matter whether I use pedal input 1 or 2 on the Kemper? Also, what cable are you guys using (link to one on musiciansfriend or sweetwater)?
I appreciate the help!

Trust me you will not need any poles these things are very very loud. My band has a reputation for being extremely loud, which is due to our drummer who hits the drums harder than I've ever know anyone to hit them. I use these as monitors all the time the kemper is on about -15db and the DXR's are one half volume. You will be a very happy camper trust me!!!!!!
Excellent! Stalking my email inbox right now for my shipping confirmation, hahaha!

Raoul, do you ever put them up on speaker poles when jamming with the band or playing live? Or do you always leave them on the floor as monitors? Just wondering if I may need to invest in a pole to put the speaker on for playing with the band or if leaving it on the floor is good enough to be heard.
-
I come out of the main outs in to FOH and out of the monitor out into the DXR I then come out of the link on that DXR to the other DXR. Switch wise D contour set to monitor, mic/line set to line and HPF off these are so clear and loud
Awesome, thanks! Oh and.....I ordered both today!!

You will not be disapointed with the kemper and DXR12's they are awesome I use two live for my kemper and have falling in love with them pure quality
Great to hear! They've got stellar reviews and great I/O options which is a huge + in my book. How do you hook yours up to the Kemper? Also, you have the mic/line switch set to line right? D-contour switch to monitor? And HPF to off?

Ok, good to know. I should have mentioned that this would be for playing at home mainly, but certainly good to know the best way to handle a live situation where you have control over your own monitoring vs. FOH having total control.

Hey guys, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a new Kemper and the Yamaha DXR12 powered speaker but a very noob-ish question here on connections. I was assuming I would do the Left Main XLR out on the Kemper to the XLR input on the speaker. This is how I connected my Axe Ultra when I had it to a K12. OR, should I be connecting the Left 1/4 Main out of the Kemper to the Yamaha 1/4 in, OR the 1/4 Monitor Output on the Kemper to the Yamaha 1/4 in? And, if I should be doing either of the 1/4 options, should I be using a guitar cable or a speaker cable (like from a tube amp to cab)? Thanks guys, and I'm sorry for the rather easy question here!

It's taken me 11 months to put together this collection of High Gain Profiles.
These are Profiles from all the best recommended users.
Download them and check out the Profile names, see which ones look interesting and try them out.
Trust me, I'm saving you months of work.Thank you so much!

Thanks guys, very cool, appreciate it!

Yes, audio would be the best!

I think so much attention is put on the profiling process and what the kemper can do in that respect and there's just not as much attention put on other areas like effects. I appreciate your post zerocrossing, cause that's my concern. And really, would just love to see someone on a clean patch running through all the different delays, choruses, etc. in the unit. I've seen those tutorial videos and that's not quite what I'm after but those are great videos to learn about navigating the unit. And I can't stand those guys at Anderton's, so not going to sift through an hour long video unless there's a spot where they definitely just show off the different effects! Haha!

So there's tones of clips and youtube videos of the amp tones and profiling process out there, but I haven't had much success finding any videos that show off what effects are in the Kemper and how they sound. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks so much!

Appreciate that review, thank you!
