50$ and not even audio clips? Even if they're well made they can be wrong profiles for a buyer. Who risks buying the pig in the sack for so much money? Well not me.

LOL, why are you always after proof on every other thread? There is other gear than the Kemper, you know?
Cut the crap I'm not after proof on every other thread. If you have problem when I do, that's your problem not mine.

Since I got Yamaha THR30II I don't care anymore about profiles. Since I got this device I just play and play. It sounds better than Kemper on my current studio monitors. I may want to even plug Kemper into flat setting on THR30II
Give us proof and profile it.

It is because everybody in the bar starts talking during bass solos.

EDIT:
Damned 1-hour posting restriction'll be the death of me. Sorry if this is now-redundant.
Still one hour restriction? Come on, set the Monkey free now. This is so silly as anything can be.

A Fortin Meshuggah and Cali would be nice, other than the Natas and Meathead.
A Fortin Meshuggah has already been profiled. Or was it the vst version that was profiled?

Better profiles that cut thru any mix like butter.

For recording purpose, use a multiband compressor for the palm mutes.

I have to agree about one thing and that is most of all high gain profiles have way too much bass and gain. Wait, that was two things.

I was never any Warrant fan but well done

Added 22 new cab presets; now 38 cabs in the pack.
Again subtle differences
But now the pack is even more like "moving the SM57 around finding THE sweet spot" for the profiles loaded.
Still on the brighter side, but a few warmer sounding and less eq'd cabs included this time.
I didn't find them particularly bright. Between bright and dark I would say. I have had other cab presets that was much brighter than yours and therefore was unusable for me.

I'm on my 6th version of the mix. I boosted the bass again to where it was too boomy and started to cut it incrementally to where it would render decently on regular speakers without distorting them. Each iteration gets me closer. Thanks!
You need to stop right now or you will never be satisfied. Let it be. You can always come back again at a later time when you have progressed and do a better mix. I know, I've been there too. Mixing and mixing and mixing the same song and hope the next mix will be perfect. Release it now and let us hear the track.

Consider that you are moving the bass guitar in the wrong direction. Boost the lows and place it below the kick. Maybe at around 50hz for the bass.
Also consider scooping the low freq out of your guitars. Like below 500hz.
When there are not defined regions that each instrument sits in, a mix can get muddy.
Additionally after everything is gelling, don't be afraid to mix wide. Let the vocals, bass, and kick occupy the center. Let the guitars spread out.
It may help. I've learned to handle these things at the source nowadays so that i dont have to adjust much in mix, but depending on the recordings you may need to eq everything a lot. Don't be afraid to consider that things can sound like shit solo'd, but excellent in context with the mix.
Why do so many metal guitarists believe in the scoop the mids to get a good metal tone? A guitar is a midrange instrument. If you want the guitar to cut thru a mix you need midrange and not cut it. The net is full of bad mixing advices. If you need to EQ everything a lot that means you didn't get it right at the source and EQ won't be a magic trick to solve the problem. Fix it in the mix is another myth and another bad advice.

Why don't you mail Premier Profiles and ask them what's going on. There are other vendors too that sell JCM800 profiles. Vendors don't accept others trying to sell their profiles to someone else. You wouldn't like that either if it was your profiles. Don't get me wrong I'm not picking on you. It's not legal either to upload others profiles on RE. Free or not. But if someone sell their kemper it's accepted the profiles will be included in the purchase. If some profiles won't be able to purchase at all, tough luck and accept the fact. Like I said there are always other vendors.

Thanks! The idea was to use basically 2 sweet spots on cap an cone (or subtle adjustments of these) and get small variations by "moving" the mic forth and back. But to simulate the increase or decrease of the intensity of low frequencies captured by the virtual SM57 I did prefer adding the proximity control of T-RackS mic room and some eq to finetune.
So I get a "cab pack" with IR that work for clean, crunch and high gain, still having "in the same ballpark" tone.
And at least 85% of the sound is the cab and a cab matters more than which amp is being used.

Gone thru them now. Not so much difference between them but that's okey. Anyway you have done a good job and they do sound good and I will keep them.
