A wonder if it's the same "vendor" a new forum member bought 12 000 Rigs from the other day.
Me wonder too. Me think so too. Me sounds like Jar Jar Binks.

I've got another soundcard than you but you have to route to the right channels for reamping in Cubase. Open audio connection and check. For me it's 4 and 5 in for reamping while recording and a DI are 5 and6 in.
You need one of these
Yuck! No thanks!
Why not? Aren't P90s the standard to which all single coils are compared?
Servus
Jim.
That might be true. I just can't stand single coils. I started play when I was 15 and now I'm 51 and I haven't changed my mind and never will. But again I have never played old fart rockn'roll either.
Eveybody needs a P90 axe!
No!
Did he catch you with her when he came home early?
Ibot39 i haven’t seen your comments on why the Music Man compensated nuts don’t work so humour me please. What don’t you like about it? I’ve neve actually played a combensated nut but the theory seems to make sense. Where does it go wrong in practice? Just refer me to your previous posts if that’s easier.
I can't speak for Music Man but I've compared Earvana compensated nut and a Graph Tech nut. Any difference? The only difference for me was that the Graph Tech nut sounded better.
Agree it's a good idea.
As soon as I purchased the kemper I couldn't care less about IR's. But that's me. Check out choptones. They have IR's too and they make great kemper profiles.
I appreciate the vendors who keep everything to one thread, though the drawback is having a crazy amount of pages and who is going to go back 60 pages? Those threads are cluttered as well with "Thanks!" posts and the like. So I can understand vendors not liking 1 thread for everything because their old packs just get buried.
If it were possible for each vendor to have a sub-forum page they could create individual threads in, that would maybe better help serve 2 masters. It would keep the general vendor page much cleaner and allow you to then click on their folder and see all the threads that they have for each pack. I don't know if this entirely possible with the forums layout, but seems more sensible.
Spot on. But MM is right that something better has to be done.
Either you will eventually get a long with the fat neck or not. Tried it and my small fingers didn't like it. Lets hope it's not the latter for you too. Anyway, some PRS modells comes with thinner neck. Maybe you should had considered that first?
Display MoreFrom my view it is not possible to compare L6, Axe FX .. with a Kemper. The Kemper is a profiler = you get what YOU profile and the result will be great (4U). If you buy some profiles there are ok, BUT they are not profiled in your environment with your guitar, pu's, amp, your settings and dynamic of your playing.
If "I" play with my L6 HD500 it's sound much better as any profile i have buy. Same when i get strait in my Marshall!
And again a big BUT, when i make my own profiles i can't hear the difference & thats the big PRO If you play with more than one Amp or use more Amp's in a studio you can make your profiles and you have all in one device = very good for live, at home or in your studio.
My advice: Make your own profiles with your gear, amp, modeller or software "you like" and you will be very happy with the Kemper - so easy
I hope this help!
Sure. Therefore it's easier with active pu's than passive. With passive some vendors profiles sounds great while others no or at least okey.
Ciao and welcome. Looking forward to hear your profiles eventually.
Either thicker strings, which gives tighter string tension, lower action if that's what you want, and better intonation and the guitar stays better in tune and longer too. Or buy a guitar with at least 26.5 guitar scale length. Anyway that's my two cents.
Of course, if any of you altruistic right handers want to help me with my GAS, then feel free to buy a left handed model also.
The problem with sampled bass, or any instrument for that matter, no matter what you do it will always lack the human feeling you just can't get. It will always sound robotic and you can't get the attack either. It will always sound lame. So yeah even a cheap bass guitar is better than samples.
I found that when you use clear pickups, they don't look fat anymore!!!
Or use different glasses?
Alright so I've been playing with the demo for about 30 minutes now. Does it come close to kemper? Hell no! Is it any good? Well for being an ampsim I must say I'm impressed. Certainly better than any other ampsim I've tried and there are very few that I haven't demoed. Things that all ampsims lack are dynamic, attack and that they easily mask sloppy performance. That includes this ampsim. If kemper or any other similar thing didn't exist and all there was was ampsims, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this one.
I not gonna lie, at first I thought that was going to be just the note ringing the whole time haha!
Ha, ha, ha! You're not the only one.
Sad news? Everyone will die eventually. Celebrate those who have passed on and what they've done while they were still alive instead of mourning. Yes I've used his stuff too and I cherish his creation and celebrate he has made so many musicians around the world happy. Cheers jim!
