I would love to hear some remarquable recording with delay on a pitch shifter.
Any famous band using it?
Nope, we just want it because it sounds cool

Recording a dry signal and having your feed as wet as you like it is very important to me for just the feel as you mentioned.
Having said that i feel the KPA's effects are quite good and definitely better then at least the stock one's included with most recording software I've used and sometimes i may record with a bit of the delay and verb from the KPA. The main trick to doing this is to get the settings as you like and then back it off a little as it always seems more pronounced on playback.
Recording the dry signal is definitely the "more pro engineer aproach" but i'm a guitar player first and as Ingolf says there's know golden rule.
The formant shift has added new dimensions to pitch effects for me, before it was not an effect ( pitch ) I cared for.
I hope so as you still then have the option of the camplifier and any other 3rd parties who may crop up.
Wow didn't Know that was there, thanks
You might also want to check out the Holdsworth rig from the rig pack Bill Rupert has just put up, won't be able to try it for a couple of days but the video sounds outrageously good.
Thank you, I was looking forward to this and that Holdsworth rig sounds fantastic.
Really apreciate your work
I can reveal a little secret here: we will soon work out a solution, where the direct profile and the corresponding mic'ed profile can be combined to a single profile...
So you you can have balance any amount of direct or cab?
Cool , But more tweaking ;(, Im going to have to inrcrease my ADD medication
I do, if you don't mind. And I used my right to tell my own opinion. I didn't do it in a bad way by any means so it should be possible for you to just accept that there are other opinions than yours, ok?

Yep of course you are, you miss the point,
I'm not going to complain to Red Bull because I didn't grow wings. It's just marketing.
Peace
If lead sounds are to trebly and shrill, my fav quick fix is lowering the high shift just a tad in the cabinet parameters rather then playing with the tone stack or other EQ.
Lowering your guitar pot volume as Waraba suggested and increasing the amp gain is also good to try, I read many years ago Jeff Beck did this.
Happy Kempering
Geez give Andy a break, who cares what it's called. You will never create anyones ultimate anything anyhow, for me the biggest crime would have been the exclusion of the JCM800 but thats just me.
And once again excellent
I still look at things but it ain't amps and pedals, my gas has just ramped up studio gear lust
You already used a kemper right? Or your balls are huge?
The most interesting and fascinating thing seen since Dr James Gates found binary code imbedded in string theory, thanks for sharing!
There's lots you can ask for on personal level that you may want , but for the masses a librarian a lush spring reverb would satisfy many. On the other hand sometimes your presented with some great stuff you did not know you wanted, never was a fan of pitch effects and then we were given formant shift and a whole new world evolves.
Excellent Waraba! I'm enjoying these gifts also, can't get enough.
The ME for the KPA is green
Cool video, thanks for sharing!
