Yes his hi gain mania was great, his Austin, Nitro and Bogner XTC profiles remain on my KPA and I only have 50 or so.
Thank you, your efforts are very much appreciated, will try soon, great profiles have been coming thick and fast and I have quite a backlog, times are not tough
Congratulations, I have not gigged for about 8 years, but 40!, how did the nerves hold up?
Go to the cab parameters and lower just slightly the high shift parameter. You could also raise the character parameter.
I'm assuming fizz is a high frequency.
Just a hunch
At the start of any video/ sound recording strum your guitar slowly just 4 times but with force using exaggerated downstrokes. This gives you something easy to sync the audio/video that you edit out easily.
Just remember Aussies invented the pavlova and I'll let you play here
And absolutely no Rugby talk unless things change
May I ask by what means you are carrying you acoustic guitar to the KPA, piezo? Mic? Magnetic pick up? transducer?
Nice stuff, I think your channelling of Gilmour on For Those That Wait will be a hit with all of us here.
Your niece and I are seeing very small files that could easily be conveniently stored on the device that uses them. You mentioned "time consuming" but if the entire collection fits why not let it reside there - this take us zero time? My wife doesn't delete our family digital photos if they aren't worthy of being framed - do you?
Yes I do delete photo's of my kids, I just keep the good ones, but I guess that's my OCD, i hate clutter But I see your point and fair enough.
The biggest problem i have experienced with the KPA is too many rigs.
1000 is ridiculous and time consuming. Do you really want to be a digital amp collector?
Reminds me of my neice who has so much downloaded music just becuase she can. Never listens to 99% of it, but she has it.
Played it all night kilihahn absolutely killer thankyou very much!
Monitor out -> FX loop of of Carvin X100B -> custom 2X12.
I'm still contemplating a move to FRFR, but am kind of afraid of getting a mic'ed tone instead of an in-the-room tone.
No need to be afraid, the KPA is all about the mic tone. It's different but just as glorious. Turn it up loud an it will still blow your mind .
Recently had the chance to play through a friends 2 x 2000 rms watt mackie stereo set up. I'm still shaking and my ears may never recover
Yep the advantages of an all in one hi fidelity box. I love effects, but I think I liked shopping for them more.
The less muck between fingers and sound waves the better. This is the brave new world. The potential has been around for while but the reality is recent. People are screaming at CK for this and that, but have you really explored the KPA to its potential?
Luckily I don' t tone match guitar gods, I can understand if you are in a tribute/ covers act you may have a need but there is so much potential with the KPA why would you want to?
Example - never thought I wanted a ring modulator ( please Donbanarzi restraint) but I've being having a blast with low amounts to a distorted tone cranking the tube bias and amp sag, adding some delay or chorus, all at subtle amounts and massaging the tone to a produce an intoxicating trance inducing tone.
Peace.
Thanks kilihahn, the clips sound great, don't own a les paul but I hope to get close to that tone with my 335. I have a sneaky suspicion my strat is going to like it too.
Can't wait to try
LET ME BELIEVE !!!!!
I guess I'm confusing this w/ the other Cab thing ....something to do w/ retaining some eq- rig - cab qualities even when you turn cabs off when using the output going to you amp and guitar cab
??
Yep, that's cab DRIVER, activated through monitor out automatically when you turn cabs off. No need to download comes with version 1.6 I think.
Sam, thanks that was very informative
Yes thanks from most members of the KPA old farts club
"A" footcontroller, not "The" footcontroller....
You choose half glass empty, I choose half glas full
