Just try the free profiles of AND44/The Amp Factory. I guess there you'll find all you need for any Strat sound.

Due to malfunctioning of RM 1.2.3 (doesn't allow any changes to data-fields of rigs) I wanted to roll back to RM 1.0.52. A re-install of RM 1.0.52 wasn't possible, only "Repair installation", "Change installation" or "De-installation". Repair and Change led to ansolute no changes, de-installation as the last option has celeaned up my personal rig-database with ca. 9.000 data-corrected rigs!
After re-installing RM 1.0.52 I imported some rigs into the (now) clean database and had to discover that all my changes made in the past were not written to the rig files (*.kipr). It seems all the changes to structrize the rigs were only hold in the database-archive, that has been completely wasted by the RM-rollback. All my work of structuring and cataloging/data-correcting etc. in the past since releasing RM has blown up in the air! Can't tell you how happy I am ...
Due to the desolate installation routine of RM that doesn't allow to specify a path for the installation, the application and it's data is hidden in the labyrinth of the Windows structure. So I've got only the option to re-install a former image of the system drive to regain the database but otherwise I'd have then to restore manually my meanwhile altered system settings. So I decided to save my system and clean it from such crisis software like RM, waiting to get a simple and effective tool like Axe-Edit for the AXE-FX one day (like promised month/years ago by the KPA-team). Imo this software is absolutely unprofessional and not usable under professional studio requirements! -
Of course this was possible til now except the field of the creator's name.

Sorry - I forgot to mention: Running Win 7 64bit.

I just updated to FW 2.7.0 Release and RM 1.2.3 cause it's elevated from beta to release. After updating RM doesn't allow any changes to the data-fileds of one or more selected profiles.
That's a serious problem imo. I actually got round about 9.000 rigs in the RM and I'm only able to handle it using own specific data structures. It's no pleasure to rename and structurize new rigs, but it's a way. No this is blown up actually.Anyone else got this problem, too?
By the way, I know that I can open a trouble-ticket. No need to hint this way.

It is. It is the plural nominative of a noun that is neutrum.
Wow Ingolf! Now I understand your forum-state "Enlightened" in full depth ...

Nearly always I use an EQ pre to the KPA, but not the KPA-internal EQ's. I use physical EQ-pedals or the Axe FX-internal EQs. Post EQs I use from the console or from DAW-Plugins.
Imo the KPA internal FX are the weakest side of the machine, good usable for quick and dirty settings but not for recordings/studio use. I usually first turn the FX-blocks of the KPA off when testing a new profile. Every profile has to stand this test before becoming part of my collection. -

This problem with logins to sub-sites exists already months ago and was then successfully solved. Is it back with the new forum surface?
Imo there should be only one login to all Kemper ressources/sites/forum ..! I would be very thankful if this could be realized again. -
I would like to have an official info about replacing the battery as a service-manual addon or so, please. Or do you guys at Kemper's would like to have some thousands of support tickets in the near future about changing the battery?
I guess no. -
FW 2.5 running perfectly - as expected! No errors. For over a year I don't use beta-versions on the KPA no more (bad experiences).

If you like that sort of thing...
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jmb…0OD-tWXrv6XuN2ZAemja?dl=0No infos? No rigs? No ... anything?
I did several bass clips in last years, too, but I can't see the need to post it here this way. -
Thank you for the profiles!

... by the way: Why should it die quietly?
Kick the thread official off or let it run ... -
thread wont die quietly if people keep +1 ing
thread will also not die quietly if people discuss +1 ing

I'm a great fan of noiseless single-coils and I got actual several sets here:
EMG DG20 (Strat)
Fender N3 (Strat)
DiMarzio Area Set (Strat)
DiMarzio HS2, 3, 4 (Sterling Silhouette)
DiMarzio Virtual Vintage DP402, 403 404 (LAG Strat)
Bill Lawrence (Fender Cobalt SCN) Tele Set
DiMarzio Cruiser (Ibanez AT10)
Music Man/DiMarzio Custom Wounds with hum-cancelling electronics. (EBMM Silhouette Spec.)All pickups seem to be made to be played through the KPA (or vice-versa), the sound is fantastic! "Real single-coils" are sounding weak and thin in my ears compared to the stacked ones (maybe I'm mutated meanwhile :D).
If I'd to decide which is my Top-3 rating I'd vote1. DiMarzio Cruiser, MusicMan with hum-cancelling
2. DIMarzio Area/Fender N3
3. Bill Lawrence Set
but the differences are minimal.I tried several Seymour Duncan single-coils but replaced each and every model after test. I couldn't find any SD SC sounding proper or indivdiual, can't understand the hype around these pickups. Imo it's ordinary industrial stuff - nothing more.

Yeah - a final release would be funny - otherwise: Good work needs time (like the Michel says)!
