    Hi,

I liked all the sounds from this amp and your playing. Though your fingers certainly will have the greatest part in sounding sweet in my ears, I'd like to try it myself with Tele, Start and Hamer Sunburst. So, if it's not too much of a bother....

Thank you very much for the wonderful interview job you did with Kirk! :) :) :)

    Best regards

Thank you very much for your Fuchs ODS rigs. Especially CLEAN, SEMI CLEAN and BLUES are very useable rigs. I use them quite often with my Epiphone Casino John Lennon (P90s). You found three absolutely sweet spots.

    Best regards :) :) :)

Thank you for your excellent work. At last I found the time to upload your Dr Z Route 66 rigs. They are quite something of a sound, really. I do like to change the order of fx's (Pure Boost, (Tremolo), (Phaser), Gate or Compressor) in order to enable to footswitch the boost on and off. Other than that I found only minor adaptions to guitars (sc, hb) worthwhile.

After having listened to so many rigs in the last months it astonishes me that there still is an amp that not only sounds differently but sounds good actually.

    Best regards :) :) :)

I don't know the Bogner. The Evil Robot is just fine and sounds true even on "cheap" active fr monitors. As far as my Tele is concerned though the "D13 Drive" profile of one of his "Divided by 13" packs wins the day. Never heard such a good sound through digital equipment. Albeit, Andy's Fender Vibrolux 63 is in the same ballpark.

    Best regards

    Jo

Of course I'd like them all! It's hard to choose. But if forced, I'd say: Vibroking, Bassman, Princeton and Tweed Deluxe (Super Reverb or Reverb Deluxe).

    Thank you for asking.

    PS

I'm not very much into the "stomps cum amp" option. I very much would like to have just the "amp com cabinet". Nothing else, nothing more: Clear, Clear +, Push, Push2, Cranked, Cranked2, Full, Full2, Solo (always like that in your deliveries).

Thanks a lot for this outstanding performance. For everybody who's in this kind of sound they need not look farther. I very much enjoyed listening and watching your excellent playing. I hope Mr. Kemper will realise brilliance when he sees it and use it as an offer not to be refused in his PR activities. I'm not overly concerned about U2 as you obviously are. But I do find it very generous to offer the fruits of many hours of tweaking and fiddling as a present for the community. That's the spirit!

    Keep on playing.

    Joachim :) :) :)

    Hi Neil,

some of your rigs take "pride of place" in my collection of assorted rigs. I very much like the rich and subtle sounds they allow me to get out of the toaster.

Thanks a lot for this welcome contribution. Just downloaded them and will take a closer look tomorrow.

    Joachim :) :) :)

Just tried your A-profile with my old fender tele. Really nice, thick tone. Especially the volume rolled off and the HB neck pickup dialled in gives that "this is it" gut-feeling. You are absolutely right about "gaining" and "drowning" effectwise. Lots of fun to play the old lady with. Thank you

    :) :) :)

    Mullassiff, markly words, indeed,

maybe a bit over the top?

Come on: don't you think that there is a certain difference between telling us that there are no free (substantial) updates with the KPA (your first post in this thread) and - now I'm speculating - the fact that you stopped reading the list of updated items after "tone stacks"?

I do think that there are lots of improvements in FW 6 and I would not want to miss a single one of them. Maybe it wasn't what you wanted. Then again you always can tell what you are missing, can't you?

I agree: every user is free to decide wether to use a new version. It comes with a cost, though. You may loose your sound. Personally I wouldn't like this kind of fiddling around every time I getting too curious. I sympathize with your point that this is completely up to you and your readyness to catch up with the latest update. But if all you have to do is two minutes tweaking to get back - what is the use of such an update? Maybe I didn't understand your reasoning.

I'm quite enjoying the fact that I can rest assured with the KPA not only in that respect.

    Kind regards

Hi Gary, Paul and all the other old farts and young ones, :P

I'm a happy Kemper user since last october and you really hit it off with me. Exactly what I wanted to say but did not know how to do. My command of the english language isn't that good. I'm a bit older than you - phew...- (nearly 65) and always prefered Fender amps when I could afford them. Boogies and other Mesa stuff simply was out of reach. So the KPA is a real revelation. I happily expierence how good amps really sound. Need I add that I'm absolutely blown away with the KPA?

Other than that it's just really nice to have you guys (the female of the species included) in this forum. Better still: some of them, as you, can look back to a life full of music, gigging and rehearsing. Keeps your mind safe sometimes when life is playing some of it's dirtier tricks.

Don't need to add more - you said it all. ;) :)

Glad to have read your post. :)

Keep on rocking old men.

Thanks a lot for this link,

I have to say that I was - till now - absolutely convinced that maple fingerboards on a strat sound brighter than rosewood boards. I should have known better and trusted my ears.

Hmmh, so sometimes it's not what you actually hear, but what you want to hear, according to the state of mind you're in.

Makes me a reformed cork sniffer so to say!

    +1 :)

Only thing that needs a little readjustment is the amount of treble. I've tried different (active) monitors. Normally you'll want to add some extra treble. The KPA is always sounding mellow an warm in this habitat.

Some kind of headphone filter for hearing rigs staright from the KPA would be appreciated though.

Really impressive recording: transparent, groovy and great sounding guitar parts. Liked to hear it very much. Reminded me of days of old hearing BOC from the turntable Astronomy, Don't fear the reaper. Compliments for the vocals.

    Thank you for posting.

    Mr Kemper & Crew,

I just wanted to take a second to let you know how that your continued efforts to refine and improve your product are greatly appreciated. The purchase of the KPA was not a flippant decision on my part as I've never spent anywhere near the amount the KPA cost on a piece of guitar gear and I feel it was worth every penny. It was your unique approach which initially caught my attention and the clips which were so close to source material I couldn't believe my ears. The fact that you've continued to offer free firmware updates improving the product is the icing on an already delicious cake.

So here's to you CK & crew. Please don't let recent events get you down, I know I'm not the only user who feels this way.

I subscribe to that point of view and hope you will continue handing down goodies and freebies.

    Kind regards
