Hey husker, here's the Friedman (think I've got it sorted out now). Clips are at the bottom of the page

Hey everyone, just letting you all know that I've been working on some commercial profiles and they're available here:
http://www.shortwavemusic.com/kemper
There are only two amps at the moment but there will be lots more to come soon, it takes a long time in the studio getting everything sounding right... At first I created them for my own use, for doing session work, but thought I'd see if anyone else was interested. Some of them are a little bit mad (the Friedman with Trombetta fuzz) but fun anyway.
I've profiled them with a selection of OD and Fuzz pedals, including a klon, kot, fd2, sun face, zen drive, lunar module, timmy, blah blah
Hope you enjoy using them!

Have you changed the lead on the macbook charger to the small plug? I think they don't have an earth, try changing to the long lead and see if it's better...

Hi guys, I just got an RCF NX10 and it does sound very good, but I've noticed it has a quite noticeable hiss with nothing connected and volume down to 0, has anyone else got an NX10 / NX12 that could let me know if this is normal or not? I know a lot of speakers that are for live use don't have a need to be totally silent anyway, unlike studio monitors etc. I could definitely live with it, but thought I'd see whether anyone else has the same so I know it's not just my one...

I know that sounds like a mad question... but I was wondering if this was possible as I have a few clean rigs that I love, but they sound even better with my EP booster in front. Is there any way I can profile the Kemper + a pedal, so effectively adding it to a rig I already have? (without using another Kemper)
Sorry if this has been answered already I couldn't find anything with the search function...

Sounds exactly the same as the problem I have, I posted some clips of it a while ago. I've found that extreme settings on things like pick attack and definition seem to make it a lot worse so I avoid those now on clean sounds. I hardly notice it now to be honest...

I would prefer the smaller one, or at least one which will fit in a bag with the kemper. I know that neither of these two will fit the current bag but it would be great if they made a new bag to fit them both together! Plus tap tempo is the sort of thing I would use maybe once or twice in a gig so the ease of carrying would be way more useful to me personally..

Looks like a clone of the old auratone speakers, people use those for mixing to mono or audio for tv, also to see how a mix will sound on a cheaper more lo fi system, definitely not what you'd want for practising through I'd say...

Just tried, sounds the same with different guitars and different leads, not really sure what else it could be..

Thanks for replying Mr Kemper (and everyone else), it's really impressive that the designer of a product takes the time to read questions like this on forums and try to help out! I've finally got round to doing a few clips of the noise my amp makes.
In both of these clips:
Clean sens = 0
Dist sens = -5No noise gate
No clipping anywhere, both lights are green
First one recorded with pick = 0, second one pick = 5 to exaggerate the noise...
No clipping anywhere in signal chain, it also sounds the same through monitors and headphones. I recorded it with a duet 2 in logic.
The first one might not sound too bad but it's very distracting when playing, the gain on the patch is 0, I can get the same sound if I put pretty much any patch gain down to 0...

http://snd.sc/PkqEBFIf anyone has any ideas that would be great, the amp does sound amazing but this is kind of stopping me doing any proper stuff with it at the moment, I'm sure it's either me doing something stupid or that there is something wrong with this particular amp as I've heard some incredible sounding clean clips...
-
I would say most rigs have it a bit, it's more noticeable on clean sounds though. I've got to go out for rehearsals in a minute but when I get in later I'll post clips..
-
At the moment it's just guitar - kemper - studio monitors (event alp-5) but I also hear it with my headphones (akg k702). I'll try to record something today after I get back from rehearsals around 4pm, thanks for your help though its appreciated.

Hi, thanks for replying, yeah I've tried that, I've only been playing with single coils and I haven't even made the input or output LEDs yellow, definitely not red...

Just got a kemper amp, it does sound great, but I've noticed most rigs seem to have a quite noticeable amount of a sort of clicky noise when I play, after a bit of fiddling I've found that it seems to happen when the pick attack control is anywhere other than zero, will try to post some clips later. Is this unusual? Is it possible that I would have got a bad unit?
