Yes you can do it without the chip..
You lose a lot of the stompbox functionality though so for 16.- it's a no-brainer.
OTOH you should definitely use that editor which makes programming the FCB very easy.
But how do i do it without the chip?
Best regards
If you have an FCB, I highly recommend to upgrade it with the UnO chip for 16.- Euro.
Invest another 16.- Euro in the Editor software and you´re done.

Hello thx for the reply.
I cant do it without the chip?
Best regards
Wah in the KPA must be in a stomp slot, switched ON. It must be set to pedal mode.
The FCB must send Midi CC 01.
Before using the FCB's pedals a calibration is recommended.
That's all.
Hello there..
How do i set the FCB to send a Midi CC 01 signal?
Hello there
Does anybody know how i assign the wah stomp pedal to the pedals on the behringer fcb 1010?
Hello first there was a mix knob for the Stomp Ts on the kemper but after the update its gone and replaced by a tone knob.
But the mix knob hadnt had any impact at all.
I hope there will be a good mix knob for the TS to make it less appearent.
Hello what is the best sounding powered speaker to use with the kemper for live playing?
Hello there
I have a terrible lag when i switch paches with my FCB1010
It doesnt switch direct
there is at least a second delay when i switch banks.
this is a huge problem so i cant use the kemper live that way....
Yes the Peavey 6505 comes realy realy close i think..
Great work man!
Well, here it is.
I have to say that i find it too trebly for my tastes, but i didn't change anything so kust tell me if it suits you.
Here's the entire profile, save the cabinet and check it out
If you need i can profile it again.
Many thx for your help...
It sounds indeed very different from what i used on the pc with plugins and with the axe fx.
Its indeed way to trebly..
Its a bit strange because al my amps from the axe fx and the ampsims from the pc sounded better..
But thx that you wanted to try for me..
Display MoreJohn, you have to realize that this would be as using two KPA one after the other.
You can't really say "it's a miss", it's like saying that my PC misses the ability to talk with me vocally when I'm far from home and hence can't make dinner ready for when I'm back... It's a technology limit, not a missing feature. My car can't run 200 mph, and this is a fact. If it could, it would not be at the same price point.
If you wanted to put (say) 4 profiled stompboxes in the slots, you'd need 5 (current) KPA running in series. Are you willing to put 9,000 $ on it?
I think it could be possible......
Just profile over your DAW and load the impulse response accordingly. This is not very complicated. Connect the KPA direct out with the audio interface input and the output of the interface with KPA return. Now create an audio track with the IR loaded and activate the real time monitoring for that track so that you can hear that IR on the incoming audio signal. Now just create a profile and later extract the cab.
Hello thats the problem at the moment i have no audio interface..
So if somebody wants to do it that would be great..
What output can i use best on the kemper to conect to a tech21 powerengine?
