Hey guys, I was going through some old KPA backups, and found a profile I made with my ADA MP-1 into a MicroCAB - this was about 4 years ago when I first got my KPA.
I believe the MP-1 was set to a Michael Wagener setting called "Solo, Lots of Lows" from a list of settings he provided to an ADA magazine.
I don't know how I had the MicroCAB set, but it would have been my favorite setting at that time.
I was not able to get an exact profile match with this setup, which is why I didn't upload it at the time, but playing back through it last night, it sure was a lot of fun!

Pete Turley (Pete's Profiles) has a Supro and a Valco in his Platinum pack. I'm particularly fond of the Valco in that one.
Wow, thanks for the heads up on Pete's platinum pack 1, I've been a little out of the loop and had been sleeping on these - they look and sound to be right up my alley - particularly the Ampeg, Oahu and Princeton!!
Really digging these profiles, thank you! Here's a quick clip / tone preview:
BTW if anyone else is on Instagram and wants to play, I propose adding #rigexchange to your IG video posts and mentioning what profile you're using - could be a cool way of discovering new tones quickly and easily - I got it started here:
Randomly clicking / loading profiles in the rig manager, I stumbled into this one yesterday and have really been enjoying it. Since this thread is from 2012, I thought others might enjoy it as well!
Here's how it sounds with my Gibson V - bridge pickup (well, the only pickup in this guitar)
Thanks guys - the profile is called
GT 75 Scream 5881
That one was recorded direct; here's a short video using the same profile running through my acoustic amp (Unico) w/ just camera audio, sounds good in the room too
A great classical violin study I arranged for electric guitar -
playing one of the groove tubes profiles that came with my kemper - a hidden gem!
That's a great tip - I do this too - nice and quick way to get the freeze effect by hand; would be cool to assign some of that functionality to a pedal as well
These are great - some very special profiles & inspiring sounds in here - thank you!
Thanks a lot guys - the video is up now:
Yes... I cannot play like you unfortunately, but it inspire me really too much, I want to give a try to play this to my family on Christmas... is it possible to share your KPA settings and also a link for this arrangement?
I lost my copy from many years ago, but was happy to find a pdf on the Berklee site here. It's a lot of fun, and rewarding to work this one out. The profile was called something like "JTM45 Clean 1" by Richie (seems to be missing from the exchange right now), I changed the reverb setting and brightened up the amp EQ a little bit.
Thanks imall41, this has been a favorite arrangement of mine for some time; glad you enjoyed it!
Plug the Les Paul into the Marshall, and you know what time it is!
Why, time for a fingerstyle jazz arrangement of "White Christmas", of course!
A safe & happy Holiday Season to you all, with plenty of KPA jamming.

Profile is one of the great JTM45 user profiles from Richie.
Hey guys, thanks a lot!
speight1031 - that was a Casino (Hollow body w/ P90s) into one of Andy's excellent 59 Bassman profiles from the AmpFactory
JHERCULEES1 - that was a profile I made with my ADA MP1 earlier on. It was wiped out during a purge session, but after listening back, I may have to try to unearth it from one of my backups and share it here.
Here's my first tribute to the KPA; an ongoing setlist of some of my Kemper direct test recordings.
Including (thus far) styles such as: Rockabilly, Bossa Nova, Latin American Classical, Ambient SFX, and 80's Metal.
Profiles are coming from AmpFactory, Soundside, as well as personal and tweaked user profiles.
