These are very good pure sounding profiles.

I have this happen a month ago. The tone is very wooly if that makes sense. Almost sounds like its under water. Very weird any thoughts?
Its all profiles

A quick question, and please dont take this the wrong way...what do you do when you sit down to play guitar? Does any actual practice or playing occur or is your time spent auditioning profiles? I find it mind boggling so many folks want to have that many profiles on their box...
I really don't use that many profiles. Bought it used and it had a bunch already. I added some AF profiles and loaded some. Most of the time I get on a rig and just play. My post was more making fun of myself for keeping so many rigs.
The first week or two I did audition alot of profiles. Lately I don't really load any and if I do they are gone if I don't like them.
Really 10-15 great rigs is plenty Huh. -
The problem becomes so many rigs sound so good that you are afraid to get rid of them
I have about 950 right now. I accidently deleted one of my Ampfactory rigs once and let out a loud DOHHHH!(instert Homer Simpson voice)
You'd think I just tipped over a Bogen stack at a gig.

There are so many profiles that you can get that tone with. To many to count
Marco is a great player. -
Here is something I do that really makes my KPA sounds awesome.
I run it through KRK Rokit's 6's and a solid state amp.
I have my KPA sitting atop a Trace Elliot Tramp 2x12 and I plug it into the effects loop bypassing all the amps tones-just using the power am. I have a Rokit on each side of the Amp. All cab sims left on.
Sounds big, fat, and huge in my lil jam room.
Try it -
Looks like AndrewC put up some Suhr PT50 profiles
Man there are some amps getting profiled recently! -
Dude you are gonna be so happy with the KPA and the Adams. I play through Rokit 6's and I am happy as shit with those.
For tones you'll find singing tones everywhere. Obviously Amp Factory stuff is great and well worth the cash.
Don't be afraid to crank up the gain on many profiles you wouldn't expect to sound good with gain.
I find the gain knob in most profiles useable at almost any level. -
Nice tones
checkin in out for sure -
Sometimes I think people don't try profiles that have lack of or low votes. If you like the real amp try the profile. Votes mean little to me

Found a couple really cool things
search for CSGBAND and check his brown deluxe profile. Tweak and enjoy.
JAYMZ Diezel profile-the Bogner 2x12 cab in that profile is awesome! Save this cab and bring it into some other rigs.
Sunday Funday with the KPA-I am overwhelmed everyday with the KPA. It just loves my Axis and my Morse -
64bit floating point simply means a value to a certain number of decimal places e.g 64.2358987 as opposed to integer values which are whole numbers e.g1024.
This makes me feel dumb -
Hey
These rigs are tweaked from AndrewC's awesome Carr profile.
I think you will like them. Yes they are gainy. Between EJ and Timmons area.
On the 2nd one turn on the rotary and stereo widener for some chewy swirl! -
I'd love to hear more comments on this

Thanx, I made that one. Here is how it came about. I loaded up Ivans DT profile. Then I dropped Ron Jones scumback cab on it. That sounded cool.
Then flipped to the swart amp and cranked up the gain.
This is what I like best about the KPA. It takes 10 seconds to come up with something different and inspiring without much tweaking. Other modelers...would have required me to spend alot of time tweaking power amp sag, mic position, polarity, block, block, block.... -
When I have pedals in front of the KPA I swear they suck tone and life out of the signal when they are not engaged. Pedals sold now-don't need them with my KPA anymore

Been on 1.6 for the week now I have to say
My fargain the king patches still sound fargain Awesome! It still sounds great. Don't really know if its better but it is NOT worse IMO. Disagree with alot of info here. Oh well hope thing get figured out for all

I have gigs to play and won't update before the weekend. II am very curious about the sound of FW 1.6!
Do you play highgain, crunch or clean, dlynch05?
I play all. However I spent a good portion of my month owning the Kemper on high gain and crunch profiles. lead noodling. Not as mean cleans.
Now I feel the high gains are better. Palm muting seems more true to me. Not as mushy? Shit this could be all in my head tho cuz I am still amazed with the KPA and have been playing more than ever.
