I'm getting the clicks to but only audible when not playing
It sounds like an old analog phone dialling up
-
OK, ive been messing more with the pitch shifter today and i have horrible clicks when using the transpose one. If i stop playing it sounds like a phone is dialing up. I searched the forum for a system reset which i did, but the clicks are still there. Anyone else having this problem
-
If i use the stomps and pick the pitch shifter im getting some horrible crackeling and noise.
Do i need to do a system reset if so how please
-
Yes we will have to wait and see, we may have to wait for the next update for it to be implemented into the midi cc's.
I still have my whammy 5 for pedal octave up effects in the mean time!
Or for kemper to release their foot controller (I hope it's soon I need it badly)
-
Must admit I've never really used any type of pitch shifter effect on my guitar sounds, probably mainly because I've never brought a decent one. Well just been messing about with the new pitch shifter effects and they are fantastic. I don't suppose people who are experienced with pitch shifting and harmonisers shed some light on some great/common settings. EG the kind of sounds Steve Vai uses etc

Im sure CK will implement these features, probably making sure everything is OK with this release and when it is he will add to it. The Kemper just seens to go from strength to strength

very very good love it

This thing is completely unbelievable. The Pitch shifter sounds so so good. Update went flawless. The KPA just gets better and better. Thank you KPA team
-
What I love about the KPA updates is the unexpected arrival, its a nice surprise to have updates appear out of the blue like today's update. Looking forward to getting home tonight from the workshop to update my Kemper and try out the new features!
Like the Rack KPA which appeared completely out of the blue, im looking forward to the surprise announcement of the footcontroller whenever it may appear!
Yeah I know what you mean. I desperate for the foot controller!!!!!!!!

The tuner deviation is fixed.
Thanks CK like I said in a previous thread you are KING!!!!!!
Keep up the great work you and your team are doing
-
Is the tuner bug fixed ????
-
-
Was the 1.7.0 tuner bug fixed?..
It isn't mentioned in the summary.I'd like to know this before I try it
-
And you can try it now in the new 1.8 firmware.
Oh my god I'm freaking out now!!!!!!!!

I've read on here a lot of people saying how good the EQ presets are apparently there is one called studio EQ which is ment to be really good. For the life of me I can't find them? I've held done the EQ button scrolled through the presets but there are only about 5 in there and they all have strange names. So these must be EQ's that are attached to other rigs (I'm guessing).
Any fellow KPA users wanna help me out with where these are or what I'm doing wrong
-
I love my KPA. If it had girly parts I'd marry it.
But it won't drive me to work. That sucks...
I'd watch out now you have mentioned that CK might make it happen lol
-
Wasn't comparing them in that way, just saying if you want more advanced effects outside the basics there's plenty of them available out there right now, and Eventide has been the king of pitch effects for over 30 years. IMO librarian, metadata organization and storage/recall issues are the weakest link with the KPA right now, and the built-in effects are more than adequate in the interim.
There are a few weak links in the kemper at the mo no doubt about that but the KPA gang are on the case and slowly filling these links 1 by 1 which is why its a great piece of kit and they are a great team. Looking forward to the pitch shift effect very much so
-
Comparing an eventide to a KPA is completely insane. Eventide is effects only where the KPA is alot more so its like comparing a Renult Espace to a Ferrari. Espace is to carry lots of people from A-B where as a Ferrari is to get from A-B as quick as possible lol

Very very nice
