So I finally picked up 2 CFR12s and they arrived today...
Very curious how they will hold up against my Mesa4x12!
First impression: man they are tiny
Let's hope they sound huge...

No, if you can select the mode of your loop, you should set it to serial. This way you don´t have to adjust the mix control, becuase in serial mode, the signal that the power amp receives, comes from the fx return only. If you only have a parallel loop, you would have to set the mix control to completely "wet", which makes it ... a serial loop
Doh i ment to write serial not parallel
Ok i think ive got it.
1. come out of Kemper monitor out TRS to Vetta effects loop return TRS
2. Plug dummy cable in Vetta effects loop send
3. Turn effects loop on and select parallel mode
4. Play guitsr and rock out
Reading manual now. Bit confussing though???? starts talking about parallel and series set up of the loop. All i want to do is use the power amps of the Vetta really
welcome to the club!!!!!!!!!!
Plug the monitor out of the Kemper in to the FX return of the Vetta, IIRC you'll need a dummy plug inthe FX send to activate the loop. Whether cab must be on or off you must try it, but I would assume off
Thank you, do I use a TRS lead or mono lead to the effect return. What do I use for a dummy plug and do I have to route or activate the effects loop in vetta at all I never used an effect loop on any equipment before. Thank you for chiming in its much appreciated
Hi fellow kemper users just wondering if any one could help me out here. Would it be possible to use the effect loop of my vetta head so that I can use just the power amp section allowing me to power my 4x12 while running the pure tone of the kemper. Searched the line 6 forums and found a few threads on this that it can be done but not how to do it exactly anyone on here shed some light
Im going to invest in the mono 180 version i think, i take it that its the same as the 360 but with only one input (monitor out of KPA to camplifier) and one output (camplifier to speaker) correct?
I agree some of them are not to good. I've really started to get used to the KPA now. Every gig I do my sound is getting better. I'm what you call chasing a Nickelback guitar tone and slowly I think I'm getting there!!!!! I also think I'm starting to get used to a recorded guitar sound on stage. Last nite at a gig 3 people mentioned that the band had a different sound which sounded good. These people were just ordinary punters not musicians. I find that the KPA has bass no probs infact some sounds have to much. I couldn't be more happier with an amp and I'm sure as I go on my sounds are going to keep improving
Any news on this I've noticed the latency tonite at my gig, it's a bit of a pain but I'm sure CK will sort it out
Cool what EV is that
What are people using to stand their Kemper on at gigs. I've just been to try out a Yamaha DXR 10 at my local music store must say it sounded great. The other bonuses were its small light and very very loud.
So I'm wondering what people are standing their kemper on if they are using a wedge for monitoring. At the moment I'm just putting it on the floor but it not only looks silly but isn't very practical if you need to tweak mid gig so I'm looking for a solution for this
I had this happen to me the other day can't remember exactly what I did to sot it but I'm sure it's because I had the lock function on while trying to move effect (I had my wah on lock)
Hi Andy
I've PM'd ya
I've got PT 10HD let me know if ya need it saved as this or an earlier version
Regards Raoul
orrrrrr.... Camper 112 CX?
Yes. If you send a stereo signal with cabs on to the FoH you have to run your guitar cab mono - at this time. Maybe a future software will be able to get stereo with cabs on AND off out of the kpa.
Cheers ive just gotta weigh up the cost of all this lol.
So using my current line 6 4x12 cab I would have to run it in mono to use this amp. As there is no way of running it to the PA with cabs em on and stereo with the cab em off to a guitar cab that means if you are using a guitar cab it has to be mono right. Sorry to be a pain but I'm in the middle of deciding which way to go when I'm using it live. Camplifier with 4x12 and FOH or Matrix q12a and FOH ooorrrr Yamaha DXR 12
Up to the latest 1.6.0, not.....
Sooooo if you were running there amp connecting up like they do with monitor out and direct out going to a stereo speaker cab you would be getting one signal with cab em on and one signal with cab em off. Am i right this sounds a bit strange

Hadley, I remember buying you a box (dont remember the name) for my PODXT a few years ago and it gave a new life to this unit.
I think anyone has the right to get a Kemper and a AXEFX at the same time. Why not ? You know, I am used to a certain kind of tone (I am not a fizzy guy for instance), and to be honest also, I don't like most of the stock profiles. And this is not a problem. There are so many possibilities in this box...
I think when Radley will find the right cab profile, everything will be easier and faster.
My 2 cents
Djemass
I two was like Radley just a litle bit at first, but after playing with it for a few days ive found some great Amp/cab combos and dialing in a sound i need like is fast and esy now!!!!
Tilman, re: the connections picture: you cannot defeat the cab simulation on the direct out unless you do it from the front panel, at that point you can use the main outs.
I thought the cab em couldnt be turned of on the direct out, but Tilman told me it can now due to an update. Must say i havent used this output yet so i wouldnt know
