Does anyone know if there's a way to tell what year my Kemper was made?
Thanks!

Anyone want to check out a free cab impulse? It's a blend between a Marshall 412 with celestion Greenbacks and a stock EVH 212. 4 mics were used on each cab. Would appreciate any feedback. Kemper download is at the bottom.
Really curious about the G10...it needs to at least work on small bar/club stages to make it worthwhile
I've used it at 2 casinos so far with decent size stages and a smaller venue with no issues. I posted a video review on one of the previous pages.
I still have access to a non powered kemper so this must go!
US only!
great condition black/green powered kemper head. Still has plastic on the screen. Minor scratch on top otherwise in excellent shape. Have the original shipping box. SOLD
kemper remote, great condition, original box, cable and I'll throw in a backup cable I bought. SOLD

Yes, you're right. I'm still waiting back on the site to see what they can do.
Hi guys
Just wanted to let you all know that A/M Audio had a potential hacker buy profiles from our site thew other day. It's still being looked into by our web host but here's the gist...
Received an order for $4.95 from a jouni saunamäki
email:
[email protected]
Here's the problem...what he bought should have totaled well over $100...close to $200. In my site's database where I can see orders and what was bought, etc...it doesn't show any products, just the $4.95
However, the paypal receipt email shows he bought basically everything for .99 each.
I'll update this thread once I get some answers but wanted you all to be aware of that name and email address.
Happy Memorial Day Kemper friends!

A/M Audio Profiles
I make my profiles to be used both ways too. I hardly ever eq or alter them at all whether it be at home or on a stage sending direct to FOH while I have a guitar cab behind me. They sound pretty consistent to my ears either way.
Please, by all means , send it back and I'll buy it as a "demo" model from them.
I just got a Friedman ASM 12 from Sweetwater a few days ago and am thrilled by it. Yes, it's heavy, the handle makes sense to me if I don't lift it in a hurry. I was playing my KPA thru a pair of Yamaha DBR 10's with a Behringer 12" sub and the Friedman sounds way way better, not boxy the way the Yamahas do. I put a the a stock profile of a Fender Twin thru it and I was stunned by the difference. The thing is plenty loud and full sounding.
I do hope you find something you are happy with. For me the ASM 12 is a good deal on price and quality. I just wish Friedman would've put a combo 1/4"/XLR input on it instead of just the XLR.
Best of luck in your search.
Don't get me wrong...it's a very good sounding cab. But you're right. Not having 1/4" inputs is a drawback. I bought a 1/4" to xlr cable but I like that the CLR has many more options to it. I'm hoping to try one out soon. If for some reason I don't keep the Friedman, maybe we can make a deal.
I just got one in from Sweetwater. I was going back and forth on it and the CLR but figured I would like it since I prefer guitar cabs. I played my kemper and amplifire through it for hours. Very nice sounding unit but I think I may want to send it back and go for the CLR. It slightly colors the sound to my ears...not majorly, but enough that I hear a small difference. It's also awkwardly heavy. By that I mean, they put the handle underneath the wedge. Not sure why they did that but it's a PITA to move it. My goal was to lighten and downsize my rig.
I'm ordering from sweetwater using my credit
Take a Red Sound into consideration too... linear, with a feeling for the guitar cab lovers
Played one in December (with a Profiler) and was impressed.
Unless sweetwater sells them, I'm out of luck
Looks like I've decided to pick up one of the Friedman ASM-12 monitors. I've been reading and researching non stop over the last few days and initially was going to try a CLR but I prefer the guitar cab sound and feel. Hoping to order one this week.
I've been taking a look at these for my Kemper. The one thing I noticed right away from the CLR is the inputs/outputs. The Friedman only has XLR? If I wanted to run my kemper through it, I usually send both XLRs to FOH for the mains and I would use the monitor out to whatever speaker I have on stage. I'm guessing, as suggested here, going 1/4" to direct box and then XLR to Friedman would work? Or an adapter? Anyone have a link?

I know this subject has been brought up here before but there were too many posts for me to skim through...
My last gig I experienced some weird power issues. The venue was old and I'm pretty certain that it was wreaking havoc on my kemper. I've never had to run anything else before but now I'm thinking that maybe I should at least take a look into it.
Here's what was happening and after testing my kemper back at home and a couple other places, I'm confident that it was the building's power that was doing this...
My clean rigs were fine and sounded as they should. However, my high gain rigs changed. By changed I mean, they started to become clean and lost the dirt/distortion/gain. My heavy gain rhythm rigs were more like a blues type gain. My really high gain lead rigs went down to where it was hard to produce pinch harmonics.
Do any of you guys use a line conditioner when playing live? If so, what do you use to keep a constant power source going. I have protection here at home but I'm mainly interested in road stories/suggestions.
Thanks!
I may be totally wrong here but the noise gate...not the stomp gate but the actual knob on the kpa...No matter what rig I switched to, the gate would default back to zero...was it always like this and I never noticed it?
Forgot to note in my post above....before I switched back to 3.3 at my gig, the bubble tuner would not work on the remote. It would display correctly on the kemper itself, but the remote showed the strobe tuner. Just got home and tested the kemper through my studio monitors and my gain was normal...had to have been terrible power at that gig to have the issues I had.
