Kemper + remote you can use a longer cable for this.
You can power a pedalboard with pedal power, wall wort, battery, etc.
Stage is like if you have to power the amp at your feet.

The technical specs say 100-230 V AC, max. 0.5 A
So to get power to the unit when you are on a big platform and maybe have to drag a long extension to reach the Profiler Stage. And try to not create more tripping hazards.
Any creative ideas?
Did you get any response from Kemper last year?
yes. see link: Feature - set effect tap independent of tempo
I also asked for this feature last year.
Ok, so there isn't really a definitive logic
I have to say though, I am REALLY looking for ward to the new OS6.0 column structure. New reverbs are nice but that preset structure can't come soon enough. It looks like being a total game changer.
Thanks
This! The other new intros from NAMM will be great but hoping for the stable OS6.0 to come sooner.
More the guitar more than 50%. A good guitar still sound good through a meh amp. But a bad guitar thru good amp sound like bad guitar thru amp. even if the amp color the tone is like lipstick on a pig.
Thank you. I believe Per was asking about high damping parameters but dedicated to just the dripstone, rather than the overall spring. Is it possible to tweak ony the dripstone this way?
Hi, I have not yet downloaded the new beta with the reverbs. Does anyone know if paramaters were added to dripstone such as this request here?
I’d like to see a separate dripstone “high damping” setting, one that doesn’t reduce the volume of the effect but cuts the highs a little just for the dripstone effect.
For me yes and I just think it should be adjustable rather than preset. If you listen to those classic records you hear the “dripstone” effect and you hear a good amount of treble in the signal itself but the drip is often darker or more muffled sounding, it somehow feels less “even”. It’s possible there’s another route to this sound?
Would there be any chance of an LFO for spring length? I love the effect you get while adjusting this setting.
The only thing I think they can improve upon is in truly capturing the full soul of any amp, as opposed to snapshots of it. I'm hoping that the Kemper 2 will be able to profile an amp and that as you change the EQ and volume, and all the other settings on the Kemper for that amp, it will respond in kind. To me, that's really the only other improvement that would make the Kemper 2 worthy of a sequel.
If that is the only thing worth a Kemper 2 then they should stay with the Kemper 1. If i need this ability i will buy the actual amp. But of course the Kemper offer many other amp paramaters that are not available with the original amp.
.... which is why I am so looking forward to those rich new verbs and improved navigation (I don't use the stomps much myself)
maybe you will use more when the add the better stomps
I prefer to have some OD pedals. They are light in weight and help to shape tones that I can't get with the amp by itself. For example paired with a clean amp. There's a reason touring pros like Pete Thorn who have there choice of gear have stomps on pedalboard.
For the moment I prefer the tones from real stomps over the Kemper model OD's.
CK said in this thread that the verbs are done. The real guess is when the new preset management will be ready.
the description for this is a clean boost pedal. Can this push the Kemper the same like a tube amp? or is a clean boost pedal even necessary with the Kemper? Anyone using the RC Booster with the Kemper? What is your impressions?
Thanks to all for the helpful tips. To clarify i am putting in P90 pickup and want not overdo the mids. So just to back off some mids i think should be ok.
Where in the signal chain is best to reduce mids? Add EQ before the amp? Reduce EQ on the amp?
If i turn down the amp mids but then run a green scream before the amp will this cancel out the amp EQ to reduce the mids?
Any recommended EQ settings or presets to lower mids?
From the manual:
"The “Tempo Enable” soft button enables or disables the tempo for a Rig" .
and....
"Several time-based parameters allow their timing to be determined by the tempo of the song you play. This includesdelay time as well as the “Rate” parameter of the Phaser, Flanger, Tremolo and other modulation effects."
But what if a user prefer to tap the delay but not sync this same tempo for the effect? for example - enable tempo for the rig, delay time. But disable tempo for chorus. Is this possible to disable the tempo at the effect level? If no, can this feature be added?
but it seems the tap tempo sets the same bpm for all stomp like chorus, trem, etc. and not only for the delay. Is there possible to set the effects that are not delay independent of the bpm of the delay?
just build the freaking editor and make this thread go away
