Can I use the Looper inside the Kemper with those controllers?
-
Hi!
Is there a way to try one of those profiles before buying? Because I found out that a lot of profiles don't really work with my guitar / setup.
I bought already some commercial profiles before and found them nearly useless for myself. -
Hi!
Thx a lot for this profiles - I love them!!

The KPA should recognize the newer build on your USB.
Ah! My fault, i copied the old file again
Update work!On to another problem:
one led at the gain knob doesn't light up anymore -
Hi!
I installed 2.0 beta before the Fix (newer SVN Release). Is there a way to start the upgrade between those versions manually? Because when I connect the USB Stick there is no update prompt?

Hi!
I still would like to see an option to put the fx loop at the end of the signal chain (after the delay / reverb) slots. So that I can use my Jamman Looper without hassle.

Hi!
Thanks a lot for all your feedback. Yes the second one is the kemper. And to be honest, I listened today to it and I also prefer the 2nd one much more.
Of course you may get very close with some eq and other settings, but the Kemper has this special bite, which makes a big difference. -
This is not supposed to show which one is better, because you can't really compare those units and you could always profile the Pod with the Kemper. It is just a small test for myself to see which sound I like more.
I recorded this song with my Pod HD 500 some time ago (with a profile I tweaked for some time) and decided to rerecord it now with the kemper using a profile from the rig exchange.
Which one do you like better?

Hi!
Do you guys have some tips for me, how to dial in a good tone for playing live? Will the sound coming out of my Yamaha 80m's will translate well on stage?
Some things I should be aware of?Any help is appreciated!

Hi!
The Band released their EP for free! You can Download it here:

https://soundcloud.com/order-to-ruin/sets/i-am-deathRhythm Guitars reamped with Kemper - no Post EQ (except LC, HC).
I am not related directly to the band, but did the mix / mastering for a friend of me.

Hey! Thanks a lot for your feedback!
The final album will be available for free to Download. I will post a it here, when everything is done...

Hi thank you!
I used the loomis 5150 profile from keith marrow. There was no processing at all on the guitar tracks.

Hi!
Well I sold my first Kemper, but came back to it after a while. And I am more than happy, that it ended this way. Here is my first attempt: I did a little mixing project for a friend of mine:

will there ever be an option to put the looper behind the delay / reverb block?
Will this ever happen? Or is this designwise not possible? Calling CK

couldn't you just put the looper after the Profiler?
Hi!
Sorry but this option causes some problems. For example: When playing live, I connect the main outputs to the foh and the monitor out to a poweramp + cabinet.
When connecting the looper to the outputs of the kemper, I will loose the stereo option. I tested this way once and I also noticed a negative influence on the overall sound!will there ever be an option to put the looper behind the delay / reverb block?

Please:
An option to put the fx loop behind the delay / reverb slot. So that I can use my Jamman (or any other looper) like it is supposed to be!

From what I understood the signal from the loop gets tapped and is sent to master (effectively bypassing delay and reverb). So what you want to do should work.
Hi Ingolf,
I hooked up my jamman to the kemper today. The Chain is: kemper direct out / send -> Jamman left (mono) in -> Jamman left out (mono) -> Kemper Alternate Input. Guitar plugged straight into the kemper.
When I raise the Aux In Volume (Looper fx block deactivated) the recorded signal is played back. But sadly when playing an overdub / solo the sound gets distorted - like the input to the kemper is doubled / too loud.Zappledans solution:
this might work in a studio / home environment, but on stage you'll need a lot of cables. You have to connect the outputs of the kemper to the place you're standing and then back to the monitors / PA / Poweramp or whatever. It would be much easier to use the fx loop, which was designed for external effects. I just need the option to put it before the output and behind the reverb slot. And it seems, that the playback level of the jamman is quieter, than the recording / kemper itself when connected to the main outputs. -
Hi Ingolf,
thx for the hint. Could you explain this in detail, please? I want to record a riff with let's say a distorted tone. Then I want to play a solo to it with delay and reverb. Will this work? The recorded rhythm tone should stay the same.

Hi!
Are there any news about this feature? This is critical for me, because I want to put the jamman in the fx loop.
