I completely agree on an editor. I had to send my Kemper back a while ago because a knob was faulty. I would like to be able to control everything from my PC. It would be so much easier to edit profiles and A-B them, name them etc... And for I think the vast majority of us especially in the studio an editor is really a must have to profile, edit, name much more efficiently.
Please Mr. Kemper

What is the name of the rig?

This thread makes me laugh. First MW says he might like to release a rig pack, people say yah, someone then posts that he never will, people tell that poster how wrong he is, them NW announces a rig pack, people tell original poster how wrong he was, now still no rig pack, guess that original poster was right all along, lol.

The PW-Dry Wet Wet rig is really nice.
Sounds like a translation on that video would great. -
An editor would be very nice to have.

Your approach sounds pretty cool with the Zep profiles and then the Princeton. All the old gear sounds cool but I hope you get to us whatever equipment makes the best profiles. I would be interested in purchasing these prolfiles if they get that Zep sound and are just flat out good profiles.

Many many thanks for these profiles. They sound great.

Not sure which thread to post this in. Had to send my KPA in for repair. Browse knob was not working properly. Kemper got in touch with me quickly, and sent the shipping tags quickly. Called the service center to get a status update and they were very helpful. They explained what had to be done and how long it would take. I had double boxed my KPA and they sent it back the same in the same boxes too. Thanks KPA and for the great customer service.

Thank Thumas, great profiles again, there are more clear then the others. I do not think they have too much low end, I like the PR20 profiles. Many thanks.

vibcroce,
No aggression here just stating plain facts and the truth, sorry if that upsets you. -
Either way... Kemper will be providing the profiles for free, so the "try before you buy" conundrum doesn't really affect them. What MW does with the deadline etc, that's HIS business decision rather than Kemper's.
I can see your point but the whole fact is that the KPA community was promised a free rig pack only to see a commercial pack come out. People have been patient and at times ridiculed while waiting for these profiles. Only to have this happen is pure BS. This type behavior is unacceptable. To me it just looks like someone trying to make a buck. There is no reason why the free profiles could not be made available now before the cost of the commercial profiles goes up. Two words, Rig Exchange. The KPA is a unique product with a tight, small community who support, rave, and demo their KPA's to all their guitar friends and others. We don't deserve this.
FWIW I think I saw another commercial profiler offer lots of free rigs that you can try that are close to ones he sells. But hey, everyone has their own business plan.
One good thing is that I have that much more appreciation for everyone that provide free profiles, especially the people that consistently out do themselves every time they make and post a new profile. -
Are we going to be able to check out the promised free pack before the price goes up on the commercial packs?

Have to send my KPA to Dallas tomorrow so they can replace the browse knob. Got her all packed up. Haven't played through my amps in a long time. I'm going to have to use amp and pedals and it ain't the same as my KPA. I sure hope they get it repaired and sent back soon.

The Scumback M75 speaker profile through my Les Paul is un-freaking-real. Wow. Mega-thanks. You profiles lately have been really nice. Many thanks.

When turning the browse knob the line selected moves up 1-3 lines then back 1-3 lines etc... Been like this for a few months. How do I contact Kemper to get this fixed? Can't find anything on the website.

Welcome, and yup, you're reaction was the same as mine. By far the best music purchase ever. The great thing about the Kemper is it is great for every guitar player, pro, studio, gigging, or like me just playing at home. To be able to get all these great sounds sitting here in my room is nothing short of amazing. I'm glad you chose the KPA and are happy.
