Thanks! So, when I hit slot one on the remote, lower buttons, it will send pc# 1, if I wish it to? I watched the tutorial and it showed that if you have a pedal that uses midi, you can put it in the A stomp, and when you hit the A stomp, the upper buttons on the remote, to engage, it will send the PC# assigned. I'll take another look at this today but I spent quite a bit of time yesterday couldn't get it to do it. I'd prefer to keep it if possible.

"I'd just contact support from the main kemper amps site (there's a link in my signature). They'll let you know what you need to do "
Thanks! Yes that is what I had used.

"Hey, what do you need it to do, I think we have similar rigs"
Thanks much! When I am in performance mode, I need to select a slot and have it send a program change #. I'm using a rackmount Roland VG88 for my guitar modeling, which then feeds into my KPA. Hit slot 1 bank 1, and the VG88 reacts in kind. I've been doing this for about 5yrs., in browser mode, with my stock FCB1010, and mistakenly thought the same result would happen in performance mode. I thought I had enough info to make the purchase, but evidently I did not. Sending PC #s are only available with the effect buttons, which is definitely a no go for me. I explained this in the "contact us" area of support, but remain unsure if that is the right method, or if I use "contact u" at the U.S. store. So, I did both, and then thought someone in the forum would have a definitive answer.
If you now of a workaround, I would love to hear it, as there are some convenience features, such as freeze/hold, one button morph, etc. that encouraged the purchase. My mistake however, as I saw folks making complaints about sending PC #s, but did not make the connection. Oh well I suppose I'll pay for return shipping and learn a lesson. -
Just received my remote in the mail, seems to be working fine, but it's not going to do something that It absolutely must. So, I can't find anywhere on how to return a purchase. I used "contact us" but it looks like that's feedback only, so I don't know how to go about it for sure.
Does anybody know what procedure to follow ? Thanks in advance! -

I have been using a stock FCB, since I purchased my Kemper 4-5yrs ago, with great success.
The size thing is very misleading, as The FCB is 27" wide, but INCLUDES two expression pedals. The remote is 16.5" wide, but if, for instance you add two Mission pedals, and allow a bit of room between the two pedals, you are, once again, within 2" in width, of the FCB, and about 3/4" deeper, due to the Mission pedals, and you still need to mount them on a board. The FCB is one piece, add midi out cable, power cable - done. I know what number each of my presets are, so I just see the pedal LED light, and I'm good. I don't use the looper. By the time you add the two pedals, the weight is 5lbs heavier than the FCB, not even counting, if you add a pedalboard to position them on.
That said, the remote and Mission pedals combo gives greater operational flexibility, and of course, you can change the position of the Mission pedals.
I am considering using a Softstep 2, which I already own, but will have to run another EXP pedal directly to the Kemper, for that to be similar, in function, since the SS2 only has one EXP input. -
My bad, the GR 55 can not be triggered as a midi module.

Quote from I was thinking about getting the laptop audio in the Kemper
Do exactly that, and leave it on, then use the GR55's expression pedal to mix in or out.

I have this on order, and was told they would be shipping within a week or so.

Here are comments from his band mates, and other well respected players.

So very sad to hear of Allan Holdsworth's passing yesterday!!! I had the privilege of opening for UK, in 1979, and had a lengthy conversation with both he and John Wetton afterwards. Allan wanted me to sell him my 4x12 Sound City cabinet, and I simply could not do it, as I had no replacement and many gigs. He was a true genius on guitar, and a really humble, sweet human being!!!
Out of all of the guitar geniuses, in the world, only he and Jeff Beck, could move my guitar soul in such a way. Time is so short, and this was such a shock!
Love you Allan Holdsworth , and may you rest in peace. Here is one of his very last performances.

I may also be interested, in case it is still available. Don't know how to PM you, but I am also in America, and wished to know how much.

That deal also happened several weeks ago. Bought it, then sent it back - just too big and heavy for my tastes.

Maybe I've just been unaware, but this is the first I've seen of the Kemper Dual Footswitch.

I'm in too!!!

I've been using one of those Carvin V3 profiles, with the cab turned off, for acoustic sounds. Great profile!
