Thanks so much whippinpost, thanks for watching and nice comment
Thanks so much for these lovely comments
Great vid , happy to see you play the lester on neck pickup
FYI , we cannot see the vid from here , I've to click on the YT link
Thanks for that I've checked the settings on the YouTube upload and it's set to allow embedding so I'm not sure why it's not working here. Odd.
Hello all, just thought I'd share this video I made. Opted for the AF Two Rock John Mayer for the main melody/solo and JTM45 for rhythms. Hope you enjoy
Thanks guy
Finally had some time to make another video. Such a loss to music when Chris Cornell passed. I was trying to get roughly close to the original using rectifier profile with rotary and chorus on cleans but used jcm800 on heavy parts and Laboga Alligator for vocal part.
Great great instrumental cover ... as always ...
Thank you as always for watching and commenting Maurizio, I appreciate your words
Awesome cover. I love your tone. Is the Laboga Alligator on the exchange? I searched but had no luck.
Hey, sorry for the late reply. If you send me an email in PM I can send you my profile I use if you like
Thought I'd give this little song an instrumental make over. I was again using the Laboga profile for leads, and used a 'lotta love' profile for the cleans, I'd taken the gain down and added some chorus and comp for the main guitar jangly part, originally on a 12 string Rickenbacker I think.
Display MoreHi Dave,
Wonderful version of that song. I usually find that instrumental versions of songs usually don't do the song justice, but your version certainly did. Great sounds, wonderful groove and the playing is inspirational.
Since you brought up the subject of the pickups, what pickups are they?
Cheers,
Mats N
So sorry for not seeing this earlier. It's a stock EJ Strat so I'm not sure the exact pickup model names but whatever it came with I'm never too sure what I like regarding pickups and guitars as so many different types and all can have their own charms,
Merry Christmas all, here's the last video of 2018. Hoping you all have a crowded house over the festive period.
Haha, cheers man. I'm not usually that comfortable in close proximity to reptiles but this Alligator is tamed. There is something about that strat tone wise I love, although I can't tell if it's the pickups or just the overall feel to it.
Thank you Andy
Thank you all so much for the positivity, it's really appreciated I'm hoping you all have a great Christmas and New Year
You had fun recording this one, didn't you Davo?
It's rare to see you getting into playing like that; your body language says it all, brother.
I did always have a soft spot for this one
Thanks very much
Allt thumbs up here! I did like the band back in the 80' and still do.
Cheers guys, glad you enjoyed it
