Is it possible to take a di signal from a preamp and run that though any of kemper's input, (disable amp block) and use with a merged cab?
this could be useful with some preamps like mesa triaxis that is said i can't be profiled correctly or for example a peavey rockmaster preamp that has an internalt noise gate that needs soldering for disable.
well it does not help kemper profiles it, but users to play with their old gear with nice cabs
or for sinmix to make more comparisons with real amps and kemper cab's hehe

Thanks!
Sounds very good! -
I almost forgot that i did more blended profiles, this time a little different than blend 1 series..
Blend 2 is made with 2 cabs, my mesa rectifier 2x12 v30 and my friends engl 4x12 standard v60. using my tsm mt57 copy and my heil pr20 mic, check tags for more info.
Blend 3 is my rectifier cab but with 3 mics blended, tsm mt57, heil pr20 and superlux pra 628 mk2.
Some sounds pretty cool to me and different tastes for everybody so i include most of them in this zip

Thank you so much these are great!
Stupid question regarding the merged label. I assume everyone who uses Merged means they took the profiles at both speaker out with DI and then the full setup, cab and mic included, right? I'm getting a bit confused by the labels and also I hope people label their profiles correctly when they share them (not your case obviously, I'm thinking less "prepared" profilers on the exchange). If I got this right, then I'd really only be interested in Studio profiles (head, cabinet, mic, and all - please correct me if I'm wrong!) and Merged for when I want to use my speaker cabinets.
Thanks for your help and thank you again Thumas. Those Soldanos are gold!
Well when making a merged cab you first make a studio profile (normal old school profile) and then you making direct amp profile (di after power amp, just before speaker) important thing is that amp has exact same settings when making studio and di profile.
After that i copy the cab from studio profile, paste it on di profile, press merge and save the final profile.
whats good now is the cab is separated (speaker+mic+mic position)You can as you say use this "merged" profiles to use di to guitar cab from monitor out and use main out with cab to a pa.or you can use "merged" cabs with di profiles to find new sounds. remember when copying a merged cab to another di profile you don't want to merge that cab again.
Well i guess in your case you just wanted studio profiles, but i can't see any disadvantage to use these or other merged profiles. it works like a normal studio profile if you want but you have more options if wanted. -
Well tsm profiles are not made The same day as the others so amp settings is probably not the same, that's probably the reason, but If you try my new blended profiles, does them change the sound on real cab for you? Those are all done with same amp setting.

For fun i tried blending my mics.. two at a time.
mics are heil pr20, tsm mt57, superlux pra 628 (check tags what's used)
amp was mark 3 as usual but you can always copy cab and try on other di's

I absolutely love the Soldano Profile! It's the best merged profile I've played so far!
It would be really cool if you could get your hands on some more amps like the Soldano SLO-100 or the PRS Archon and make merged profiles of them.At the moment i can't get my hands on any other amps
except cheap solid state amps, just for fun i profiled my old peavey rage 158 and peavey bandit 112. but used my recto cab.
they actually sound better than i imagine.
i'f not for you likening you could always have use for the merged cab

The amp is a Peavey rage 158 15w practice amp connected to my mesa rectifier 2x12 v30 mic;ed with heil pr20.
Also added a bonus today and that is Peavey Bandit amp through recto cab.
I actually think these sound pretty cool and it shows how important a good cab is.Peavey Rage eq knob tweak

I made some merged profiles for djemass with my sm57 copy, (tsm mt57), it's mark 3 and recto cab, all profiles have different mic positions.
i still prefer my pr20 but djemass likes these better, different tastes

Bought a brand new Power Rack. It had 2.5 on it. First thing I did was upgrade to 3.0xxxx. Been running fine and no glitches.
i seen you made some profiles, if those were done on fw3, is it studio profile only or did you do di and a studio and then merged them together?
at the moment there is a merging problem in fw3.
studio profiles in fw3 still work as it should and if that is what you doing i can understand you had no problems, -
All of them sound fantastic. Thanks, Thumas. As much hate as the Powerball gets, i think it sounds really really good here. Not sure why its the bastard stepson of the ENGL line
Thanks!
Yeah i know many people hate powerball, but for me it can sound pretty cool. This was on channel 3 with gain knob around 10:00 o clock. i think many people raise that knob to high, it don't add so much more gain but more compression.
Another thing i can think of is that many users try it with engl 4x12 standard that has v60 elements, and to me very scoop sounding, has one of those cabs in my rehearsal room but do not like it at all.
Just a thought. -
thank you...I only found 1 rig on RE? got the zipfile instead. I like the soldanos the best, they sound great...the one with a little less gain is my fav..
Hmm if you search for Thumas on rig exchange you should find 6 profiles that are "new" and has merged in filename.
i guess you liked the one without tube screamer, to bad i only made one without.
But amp is in family and i will have more access to it later on.
