I just remembered... There was a forum user: fligher that had installed a switch on the front of the rack ears. Very neat.

Im not electric savy, but he did say it was very simple.

So, if you have to cut the cord that goes from the transformer to the unit to insert the switch, does this also need to be grounded? Im thinking not?

I can't find the clover leaf version of your suggestion, so the lamp switch thing sounds good and cheap.

Yes, I have been looking into something like this. Actually the cable with it integrated, but the Stealth has a clover type connection out of the transformer. So, yes, your option is best.

I really think its loud. However I am using low volumes at home.

I just tried cranking the ISP, with Monitor out at -16db and its unbearable in the house. This is with the mono output. The bridged output is even louder. Good headroom too I think.

I cant imagine needing more for monitoring purposes.

Well, I have found a strange behaviour...

When using stereo monitor, no reverb or delay.

Press stereo button to revert to mono and reverb/delay are back.

Am I missing something?

Kab arrived yesterday.

Unpowered rack to ISP Stealth to Kabinet.

The specs of the Stealth are:

Output Power Mono:

4Ω[email protected]% THD/ [email protected]%

8Ω[email protected]% THD / [email protected]%

Output Power Bridged:

8Ω[email protected]% THD / [email protected]%

16Ω[email protected]% THD/ [email protected] 10%

Using the Mono output.

Both Full range and Imprint modes sound great and have had no problems with high gain stuff.

I tried using the VHT 2x12 for stereo monitoring. It works

One thing though. If you monitor in stereo , it seems you cant adjust the volume independently.

Since the VHT is 8 ohms , volume could differ, right?

Anyway. Not important.

Aaah! And jamming to mp3s through the kabinet, very cool.

For sale is a Bad Cat Unleash V2 100W Class D attenuator/re-amplifier

I bought this to tame a very loud Budda V20. Unfortunately when shipped to me , due to terrible packing, it was damaged. Neither the headphone out or the D.I work. According to John Thompson at Bad Cat, probably a rear board problem. However it still did the attenuating and reamping very well.

So today , after some research, I used it with my non-powered Kemper into the effects return. And it sounds pretty amazing.

Monitor out to Bad Cat Fx return and Bad Cat output to the cab. Starting with monitor volume at zero and going up as the volumes on the Bad Cat has no effect. ( These do work when used in a normal fashion with a tube amplifier)

I already have the ISP Stealth, and since the Budda eventually has to go as well , I dont need this.

I can see this sitting next to a toaster on a Kemper Kabinet rather nicely.

The feet need to be that spacing to allow the angled cabinet to stack simple as that.
