Sorry I now realise it was the Kemper OS being reffed to.

Thanks for the response folks. My OS is El Capitan 10.11.6. Hopefully this will let the Rig Manager do it, but I suspect I’ll have to upgrade to 1.8.2 1st.

I haven’t updated for about four years. What procedure do I have to follow to get up to the present? I’d be grateful for advice.., I’m a bit of a dummy in the tech world which is why I’m in this position.

Bare Knuckle Apaches ended my quest.

That's the way to buy them. A few non original parts and especially a refin gets a guitar at a sensible price that sounds and plays as good as a big money original. Love Jnrs and yours looks super-cool.

I like it, it has a nice openness about it and tons of fine tuning available.

I'd love a 188. Anyway any company has it's duds regardless of where they sit in the range. My Tok, though from the height of the lawsuit era(81), is not one of the higher end SSs, but it's Strat to the bone. Here's a minute of quasi-classical with it's heart on it's sleeve........https://app.box.com/s/wmsbhoknwb15v0wbpsl9
Hmmm, just checked and the link doesn't work..sorry.

I went to Fender Custom Shop a few years ago and got to try 30 or 40 nice CS and MB guitars. as soon as I got home I picked up my Tokai to compare and it easily held it's own. Those Fenders cost between 2.5 and 4.5K, mine cost 425 (all GBP). Plus it has Bare Knuckle Apaches in it so it really sings. The Tele has BKPs too and ditto.

With nice Squiers being so cheap why not nl.

Speaker's fine and I put an effects loop in it.

Thing is I’ve been a sucker for battery guitars for some time now. I’ve had this one for 33 years. 1983 MIJ and glorious. It does sweet cleans to blues bark off the volume knob and it’ll do a BB King tone that sits right on your lap. Lovely 50s neck too.

This next one I’ve had for about 8 years. It”s a kiddies guitar that was on sale and I thought it had slide potential. Believe you me it delivered in spades. The 20” scale length is made for bottleneck savagery.

This one I’ve had for about 18 months. It’s effing insane. It has a licensed version of SD’s hottest passive pu (22k) and vol up it does full on crazy feedback, like a Marshall stack in a bucket. It’s mental and adorable and I got it off Ebay for peanuts.

I forgot to mention what they are. The Strat's a 1981 Tokai Springy Sound and the Tele's a !985 Fender MIJ. Both have Bare Knuckle Pickups.

I struck it lucky with these two, both great players, but, imo, real head-turners too.

Stumbled on this a couple of days ago and, having a couple of bob in my pocket just now, could not resist.

How does it sound? Weak signal ?
Yeh weak and extreme treble, but with a presence/brilliance that is remarkable. It has it's own thing and it's own merits and frankly through the K it can do all sorts. It has a crazy neck, narrow across the board and really chunky the other way. Yet somehow it is easy and above all charming to play, I've really fallen for it over the last four days. I mean really fallen for it. That nutty Maestro works well and the guitar holds tune. And I've never heard a guitar clean up on the volume like this, I had a screaming Marshall profile on it yesterday and could dial it back to nigh on pristine high detail clean.
Most people probably wouldn't bond with this cheapo Gibson, but this little monkey with it's looks, feel and thing has fair bowled me over.

Got this tuesday. It’s a 1966 SG Melody Maker. Because the vendor made no mention of it I was surprised to see from the lack of wear on the frets and scratch plate, that this guitar has hardly been played. Plenty of dings so it’s been moved around a fair, but no guitarist love. A quirky beast, but I’m really bonding with it. So a braz board all original for 800 quid has made me very happy.

That looks gorgeous.

As you'll hear I'm no harmonica player, I just pick it up once in a blue moon and put it down again exhausted after five minutes. However I bought a cheap in line transformer to try it through the KPA. Guitars, bass and harp through Andy's Two Rock 35.........https://app.box.com/s/q42iduh3ckwdbz962slv
