Not sure about the rest, but you Can run an instrument cable from the monitor out of the kemper, you don’t need a speaker cable from the monitor of the Kemper.
That's what I thought. Anyway, I got it wired up properly and it's working fine.

Oh, and one other question -- I can use instrument cables to run from the monitor outputs on the Kemper to the power amp, correct?
I picked up an Art SLA2 power amp to go between my Kemper Stage and a Marshall 1960a cabinet. (Art manual: https://artproaudio.com/framew…loads/2018/06/om_sla2.pdf)
The Art needs to see at least 8 ohms in bridge mode but I can't do that since the cab is 4 ohms mono or 16 ohms stereo. That leaves stereo mode on the Art which needs to see at least 4 ohms.
So this is what I've done.
I've taken two speakers cables and snipped off one side. The wire with the wording on it runs to the centre ring of the jack so I've placed tape on them and marked them negative on the other side at the bare wire.
I then connect the two cables to the back of the Art setting the switch to stereo mode.
The last step is putting the cab into stereo mode and connecting both speaker 1/4 plugs into the cab.
Is all this correct?
Greatly appreciate any help.

KPA team will fix it because they are aware of it , end of story.
That may be, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. It's my main studio rig and I need it to work.
It's happened to me on two different versions of the firmware, including the latest one which claims to have fixed the issue.
I rolled back to 2.2.1 and it seems to be working properly.
Mine was exhibiting these behaviours -- no gain on some amp models, muffled out-of-phase sounds on others -- until I updated to the latest firmware.
It's now doing it again. The only thing I've done since the last firmware update was install Rig Manager and edit some rigs.
Any ideas? Getting a little frustrated with this issue, to be honest.

Think the playing on this one's tighter than the RATM cover I posted earlier.

Safe for work -- edited backing track.
Les Paul into channel 3 of a Diezel VH4 profile. Phase at the beginning is the Kemper 'subtle phase' preset. 'Whammy' is the Kemper's transpose effect pitched up 12 steps.
Another one of Andy's amazing profiles. Not free but worth every penny of the £4.99 cost.

For those of you thinking of this option -- the official word from Fender is that the only switch that is programmable is the expression pedal. The other switches are all hard coded and cannot be changed.
lol @ lazy.
I spent an hour trying to get it to work. The manual -- all 12 pages of it -- contains no information on how to program any of the switches for midi save for the expression pedal. And I posted at the Fender forum but so far have received no replies.
But thanks for the helpful feedback.
No need to be such an ********.
I thought maybe someone here owned both and had experience. If you don't know the answer, don't post. Pretty simple. Or do you go around saying the same thing to people looking for programming help with their non-Kemper FCB1010s?
Hi all.
I've just purchased a Mustang Floor to use as a backup and a midi floor controller for my Kemper.
My question is, how to I program the Mustang's FX buttons to send specific midi CC#s to the Kemper? The preset buttons work fine -- when I push 1 - 5 they recall the 1-5 presets on the Kemper. However, when I push -- for example -- the delay button in FX Select mode on the Mustang, it turns on the X effect on the Kemper, not the delay effect.
Is there a way to program the Stomp, Mod, Delay and Reverb buttons on the Mustang to send specific CCs to the Kemper?
Thanks!
Don't hate anything. Lack of an editor and single delete button are annoying but the positives outweigh the negatives by about a billion to one.
Weapons of choice.

I'll give this a bump. A one-button delete function would make things so much easier when winnowing out hundreds of rigs.
